Phillip Bernard “Barney” Gogolinski of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Gladys Gogolinski,
passed away on Monday, July 14th, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Barney leaves to cherish his memory his
children, Phil (Maxine) of Orion, Marilynn (Lowell) Kulak of Edmonton and Tess (Dale) Krawchuk of St.

Mr. Craig Wiebe of Coaldale, beloved father of Toni Rae Wiebe, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014 at
the age of 44 years.
Craig is survived by his father Ernest Wiebe of Lethbridge, his mother Linda Wiebe & Dale Emmelkamp of
Coaldale, his brothers Darren Wiebe of Courtenay, BC and Brad & Jaycee Wiebe of Lethbridge; as well as

EVANS, Yvonne P.
December 23, 1926
– July 13, 2014
Yvonne Evans passed away on July 13, 2014 at age 87, at the Claresholm Hospital. She is survived by her
beloved husband Howard; her sons Michael Pescod of Duncan, B.C. and Steve Pescod of Victoria, B.C.; her
daughter Linda Gill of Bella Bella, B.C.; she is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 18 great-
grandchildren; her twin sisters Diane of Germany and her sister Rosalind of England. She was predeceased
by her sisters Jean and Pauline of England, as well as her first husband Ernie Pescod in 1993.
Yvonne was born in England on December 23, 1926 and married Ernie Pescod May 19, 1945. She came to Canada
as a war bride in 1947. She married Howard Evans on August 11, 2007 and they have resided in the
Cottonwood Village in Claresholm, Alberta since 2013. Yvonne was an avid bridge player, loved to bake and
was always beautifully dressed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Leyden’s Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with
Pastor Tony Warriner officiating.

HAYKO
1934 – 2014
EDWARD HAYKO, beloved husband of Joyce Hayko, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday July
11, 2014 at the age of 79 years.
Ed was born on November 15, 1934 in Bengough, Saskatchewan, and spent his childhood in Viceroy. Ed is
survived by his wife, Joyce; his children Deanna Hayko, Connie (Dave) Hasley and Lois (Cam) Van Roon;
grandchildren, Jenna, Josh, Cody, Carter and Amy; his sister Katherine (Steve) Meszaros. Also left to
mourn his loss are Elaine (Melvin) Halvorson, Ronald (Linda) Einarson, Mavis (Alvin) Halvorson; as well
as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Matt & Lena Hayko and his parents-in-law
Eyill & Christine Einarson; brother-in-law Arlin Einarson and sister-in-law Elsie.
Ed finished his secondary schooling in Saskatoon, where he began his career in accounting and met his
wife Joyce. Ed had a sense of adventure which led him to work and live, with his family, in Northern
Manitoba for years before eventually moving to an acreage outside of Winnipeg. Ed loved people, and many
Sunday afternoons following church were spent visiting family and friends around the dining room table.
He was an active member of the Baptist church, where he enjoyed serving in various capacities.
Ed faced Parkinson’s with patience and dignity, even the difficult days with optimism and strength.
Ed was dearly loved by his family and friends and we are so thankful for the years he was with us.
A special thank you to the staff of Edith Cavell Care Centre for the loving care in his last days on
earth and to the LRH Emergency staff.
A private family graveside will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.

Marie Feldbusch
1944 – 2014
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Maria Feldbusch, in Taber on Sunday,
July 13, 2014 at the age of 69 years.
Marie is survived by her beloved companion, Leonard Bolen of Vauxhall and her four children Marilyn
(Cyril) Forchuk of Vauxhall and their son Nicholas; Lee (Merrill) Green of Lethbridge and their son
Travis; Donna (Brent Greenwood) Green of Calgary and their daughter Kelly (Thomas) Hudson; Brenda
(Richard Lester) Green of Calgary. She is also survived by her sister Olga Shiman of Calgary, brother
Peter Zbrodoff of Creston, British Columbia, brother John Zbrodoff (Jackie Feist) of Caroline, sister Val
(Heinz) Fikus of Kaslo, British Columbia, brother Max (Cherrie) Zbrodoff of DeWinton, sister-in-law Anne
Zbrodoff of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Claudia Zbrodoff, brother Serge Zbrodoff and sister-in-laws
Shirley Zbrodoff and Christine Zbrodoff.
Marie was born on September 10, 1944 in Braunschweig, Germany. She immigrated to Canada with her family
at the age of seven and resided in Vauxhall almost her entire life. In addition to raising her children,
Marie worked as a hairdresser in Vauxhall for the past thirty five years. She never officially retired so
that she could take care of ³her ladies” every week. She loved to cook, took pride in her vegetable and
flower gardens and enjoyed get togethers with family and friends. She was also the best Nan ever.
Marie was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in February.  Although a cure was not to be, she
never gave up hope.
If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue,
Taber on Thursday, July 17, 2014 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A private burial service will be held at the Vauxhall Cemetery prior to the service on Friday, July 18,
2014.
The Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 217 – 5 Street North, Vauxhall on Friday, July 18,
