Beverley Ann Lewis passed away peacefully with family in Duncan, BC on January 13, 2015. Bev was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend who may be best remembered for her sense of humour and artistic spirit. Her compassion found expression in her family, friends and the hundreds of patients she tended over a lifelong nursing career. Beverley is predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Marion Lewis.
She is survived by her daughter Rawni and children John, Ron, Gerry and Joe; sons Gary (and Larry); John; Bob (and Ellen) and their children Danielle and Max. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Judi Myers and Janet Treen and her brothers Bob Lewis (and Ria) and Ken Lewis (and Kathy) as well as her many nieces, nephews and their children. Her life will be celebrated at a family reunion to be held in August of this year.

CARRIE GAYE BALKHAM
1970 ~ 2015
Carrie Gaye Balkham passed away peacefully at 44 years of age on January 21, 2015 in Lethbridge, AB. She was a beautiful and dearly loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Carrie achieved her degree as a part of the Foothills Hospital final graduating class of 1995. Her career began with medical volunteer work in the Philippines, took her to hospitals in Texas and Calgary, and concluded with a rewarding tenure at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. Actively supporting her fellow nurses, Carrie held the position of Secretary with United Nurses of Alberta Local 120 for 4 years. As deeply as Carrie loved her practice of nursing, she was equally passionate about art. As an artist, Carrie¹s talents included painting, photography and poetry. She was inspired by local artists and found expression through art to be therapeutic and rewarding.
Carrie is lovingly remembered by her daughter Taryn Balkham Gruninger, parents Stan and MaryLou Balkham, siblings Kelly and Garth Seitz (JennaLee and TaraLynn), Neil Balkham, Leith and Jim Damiani (Matthew and Erin), Dean Balkham (Christopher, Jason and Emilea), Shannon and Clare Watson (Jenae & Derrick Pritchard and Darcie Torscher). She was predeceased by her sister Peggy Korporal, as well as her grandparents Dave and Tillie Brown and Charles and Lena Balkham, and uncles Allen, Jim and Buster Brown and Raymond Balkham. The family would like to thank Dr. Ireland, Dr. Smutz and Dr. Brigdon, Pallative Care Nurses at St. Michael¹s Health Centre, Jack Ady Cancer Centre Nurses, as well as friends Sara, TK, Christine, Lynda, Tina and Susan who provided loving care and compassion during her illness.
A Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00pm, and a second from 7:00pm – 9:00pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 St. S., Lethbridge, AB. A Celebration of Carrie¹s Life will be held at 2:00pm on February 7, 2015 at EAGLES HALL, 631-13 St. N., Lethbridge, AB. Please bring fond memories and stories of Carrie to share if desired. Carrie¹s daughter Taryn was her greatest love, joy and source of pride. Carrie was the best mommy anyone could ever ask for. EARL DOUGLAS FOXALL
1951 ~ 2015
It is with heavy hearts that the Foxall and Fairhurst family (Faye Foxall-Oshiro, Don, Cindy, Christine and James Foxall, Wayne, Gayle and Farra Foxall, Judy Foxall, Cory and Marcy Foxall, Craig Foxall, Adam and Naomi Foxall-Parker, Lisa Zielinski, Cindy and Mario Jr. Zielinski – Guevara, Russ Fairhurst) of Earl Douglas Foxall announces his peaceful passing on February 2, 2015. Doug was dearly loved, he dedicated many years to the town of Coaldale and had a passion for reading, politics and creating change. He loved to spend time with friends and family, especially camping in the Kananaskis country (KM 11) and he adored his grandchildren. Doug was a mentor, leader and helping hand who fought a courageous battle against Melanoma cancer. He will be remembered for his strong will but soft heart, his witty humor and quiet strength; the family takes reassurance knowing he can go fishing again with his late Dad, Earl J. Foxall (Squeak). Spend time conversing with his late stepfather, Jim Oshiro and walk with his late daughter Krystal Faye Foxall- England. There will be an Irish Wake for close friends and family, to be announced at a later date. February 23, 1927 – February 4, 2015
DELILA JACKSON FOX formerly of Hill Spring, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Douglas P. Fox, passed away peacefully at Raymond, Alberta at the age of 87. She is survived by her children James (Brenda), Douglas (Vivian), Gwendolyn (Wayne) Merrill, Kathrine (Robert-deceased) Darker, Calvin (Trish), Sandra (Kim) Jones, and Susan (Larry) Gaff. She leaves behind a legacy of 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bert, Iris, Norris, Roland, Janet, Jay and Dixie. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is predeceased by her parents, 7 siblings, 1 son-in-law, and 9 brothers and sisters-in-law. Delila grew up in Hill Spring and raised her family there. She instilled the importance of family to her children. She held many callings in the church and served them faithfully. She will be greatly missed and remembered. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hill Spring, Alberta on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 3:00 pm.

MARGARET JACKSON
1936 ~ 2015
It is with immense sadness we announce the passing of K. Margaret Jackson at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Margaret will be dearly missed and leaves behind to mourn her are: beloved husband Ron whom they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on February 13; children Ross (Marika) of Edmonton and Julie (Allan) of Lethbridge; seven grandchildren Liam, Nolan, Olivia, Alisha, Ashlee, Baylee and Jordan; two great-grandchildren Dominic and Teigan; sister Joan (Denis) Joyce of New Zealand; sister-in-law Eileen Ross of New Zealand; brothers-in-law Danny (Thelma) Jackson of Bancroft, ON and Jackie (Jeanie) Jackson of Richmond, BC; numerous nieces, nephews and their families; as well as many friends. Margaret was born on January 8, 1936 in Gore, New Zealand. She met Ron the love of her life in New Zealand. He moved her around the world to Canada to be married in Balmertown, ON on February 3, 1965. They spent 31 years in Crowsnest Pass and then moved to Lethbridge, in 2001. Margaret¹s hobbies included curling, knitting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Margaret was a devout catholic and was very involved with the church and the CWL for many years. She was born on July 6, 1976 and passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 38 years. STOCKTON
SHANNON MAUREEN STOCKTON of Coaldale, beloved wife of Mark Stockton and mother of Liam and Wyatt Stockton, passed away peacefully at St. Michael¹s Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with cancer and her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the age of 48 years.

WALLACE, Bruce
April 20, 1947 ~ February 2, 2015
David Bruce Wallace passed away on Monday February 2nd at the age of 67 years. He leaves behind his loving wife Carole; his son Troy (Jennie); daughter Tammy and three granddaughters, Talynn, Kameron and Logan. Bruce was the only son of Rose and David Wallace. He was an outgoing friendly guy with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. He was generous with his time and his money. He was a Licensed Optician and owned two Optical stores; at North Hill Shopping Centre and at South Centre. He managed the Flames Store in the Saddledome for many years and loved working the big events like Skate Canada, Hockey Skills Tournaments and the Olympics. He married Carole in January of 1997 and went on to work as a process server before Å’semi-retiring¹ out to his beloved cabin at Hidden Valley Golf Resort. But he wasn¹t one to sit still so he used his carpentry, electrical, plumbing and tiling skills to complete projects in his home and to generate extra income to help out around the resort. If Bruce wasn¹t working, he was probably playing golf, watching a hockey or football game, or hosting a tailgate party. He had seasons tickets to Calgary Stampeder Football games most of his life and went to many Grey Cup games and volunteered when they were held in Calgary. He was a member of the Active 20-30 Club and held executive office for his club and served on the regional governing executive. Bruce travelled throughout Western Canada and the United States and Latin America. He and Carole took several trips to Puerto Vallarta where they made many friends. He survived concussions, broken bones, falling off a roof, being stung by a stingray, but when the flood hit Hidden Valley Golf Resort, he lost his home and then he lost his mobility due to an aneurism. He and Carole were moved to Taber when he was released from hospital last October, but complications put him back in the hospital in November where he passed away. Fred Oliver
1942 – 2015
Frederick Louis Oliver, beloved husband of Ami Oliver, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Monday February 2, 2015 at the age of 72 years after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Besides his loving wife of twenty three years Ami, Fred is survived by Koko his companion and best friend; sister Margaret (Gary) Schuett of Stewart, British Columbia; brothers Doug (Lu) Oliver of Kelowna, British Columbia and Gordie (Ann Marie) Oliver of Guelph, Ontario; sisters-in-law Lillian Vanderwal of Taber, Susie David of Lethbridge and Mae Eldridge (Jack Fuller) of Lethbridge; brothers-in-law Sam (Frances) Kadoyama of Taber, Chiyo (Leonard) Burke of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lou and Jeannie Oliver; brothers-in-law Ken Kadoyama and John Vanderwal; niece Bonnie Lou Eldridge. Fred was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on March 18, 1942 to Lou and Jeannie Oliver. He worked for CP Rail Police for thirty seven years, retiring in 1995 as a Sargeant. Fred then worked as an auto parts driver for Napa and Silver Automotive until 2014 when he retired due to declining health. He was an active member of the Legion for thirty eight years, the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and the Order of the Eastern Star in Lethbridge and Fort Macleod.
