LARRY COE, beloved husband of Molly Coe, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the age of 68 years.

He was the loving father to April Adler and a wonderful grandfather to Sofia Adler. He is survived by his brother Charles Coe and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Lillian Coe.

A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date.

William “Bill” King

1944 – 2015

Mr. Bill King of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Carol King, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 71 years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00am at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Glenda Wert, officiating.

KOVAC

Anthony (Tony) Kovac of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully after a short illness on December 2, 2015 at the age of 74 years.

Tony is survived by his son Harlan Kovac (his wife Erinn Oseen) and much loved grandchildren, Olivia, Annelise and Owen Kovac.

Tony was predeceased by his daughter Connie and his parents John Kovac and Mary Kovac.

At Tony’s request there will be no funeral service. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

MARGO, Primo

March 25, 1934 – Coalhurst, Alberta

December 5, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta

Primo Margo of Calgary, AB passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 81 years.

Primo was born in Coalhurst, Alberta on March 25, 1934. He received his education in Lethbridge and later attended business college where he obtained his certificate. Primo began his working career in Vancouver and later returned to Lethbridge where he worked for International Harvester before transferring to Calgary. Primo finished his career as a credit adjuster for Beaumont Church LLP. In his retirement Primo enjoyed travelling and most of all to be with his family. He particularly treasured the time with his granddaughter Trinity.

Primo is survived by his loving daughter, Michele Margo of Airdrie; granddaughter, Trinity Margo; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Art Fisher of Calgary; and his nephew, Gary Fisher of Calgary. He was predeceased by his wife, Maxine Prime. He will be dearly missed by all those who lives he touched.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 and Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Kenneth Gordon Pierson, beloved husband of Sandra Pierson, passed away in Taber on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family in the Relief Society Room at the church, prior to the funeral service on Thursday, December 10, 2015 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. He was predeceased by his daughter DesRae Pierson, parents Harmon Clifford and Viola Pierson, father and mother-in-law Van and Bird VanOrman, sister Maxine Pierson, brother Glen Pierson, sisters-in-law Noreen Pierson and Collette Iwaasa and brother-in-law Derry Heidinger. Ken spent most of his life in Taber. He married the love of his life Sandra VanOrman in 1963 and together they had six children. Ken loved Scouting and working with youth, often combining the two. He had a big heart, loved people and knew how to make them feel at ease. He was a hard worker and taught the value of work to his children; he also passed on to them his love of playful teasing. Ken had a deep love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and as a young man served two years in South Africa as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as another year in Halifax as a senior missionary with his wife Sandra. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed. Evelyn “Ev” Ponech

1929 – 2015

Mrs. Evelyn “Ev” Ponech of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Andy Ponech, passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 86 years.

Evelyn was born in Virden, Manitoba in 1929, and the eldest of six children. As a young woman she made her way to Lethbridge, where she met and married Andy in 1949. Ev was an active member of her church where she served as president of the UCW and superintendent of the CGIT.

After her retirement from Woolco, she spent her days pursuing various hobbies and interests. Ev enjoyed Scottish country dancing, camping, was an avid golfer, and spent hours doing word search puzzles.

Besides her loving husband Andy, Evelyn is survived by her two daughters Beverly and Kathryn and their families, her two sons Ken and Don and their families as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Evelyn is predeceased by her son Darrell.
