Ms. Charlene Boumberger of Lethbridge passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, at the age of 67 years.

Raymond Anton Fander

1944 – 2015

Mr. Raymond Fander of Lethbridge, beloved partner of Nova Jean Swihart, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 71 years.

Raymond was born on October 6, 1944 in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan to parents Joseph and Elizabeth Fander.

He is survived by his partner, best friend and companion, Novajean Swihart; his sisters Joyce (Tony) Froelich of Edmonton, Alberta, Marion (Leonard) Hofer of Good Soil, Saskatchewan, Diane Sebastian of Edmonton, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and Novajean’s children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held from 4:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the MOOSE HALL 1401 5 Ave N, Lethbridge. Interment will take place at a later date in Good Soil, Saskatchewan.

KATIE HOFER passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 with her loving family surrounding her at the age of 82.

LORETTA EILEEN LAVALLEY passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at her home in Lethbridge on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the age of 94 years.

Loretta is lovingly remembered by her children; Janice (Jack) Thys, Barb (Rod) Moore, Doug (Karen) LaValley, Bev (Jim) Fraser, Marina (Rick) Ramias, Donna (Eugene) Wehlage, Rick (Theresa) LaValley, and 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by one brother, Edward Smith.

A private family Requiem Mass will be offered by Father Martin Skierka.

GERALD DEAN PETERSON (Gerry) was born on December 8, 1937 in Mayville, North Dakota and died on February 7, 2016 in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Gerry leaves behind his sister Darlene, stepchildren Shirley Isaacson, Barry Bump, Tina Aquirre, and Tammie Griswold, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wives, Jan Peterson and Sheilah Convery Peterson.
