1943 – 2016

Ms. Elizabeth Clement passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the age of 72 years.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects between 7:00-8:00pm on Monday, March 7, 2016 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at ST. AUGUSTINES ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 11th Street South, Lethbridge, with Canon James Robinson officiating.

Interment to take place at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario.

“Aunt” Sarah Hofer, of Raymond, Alberta, passed away peacefully at her home. She was just 26 days short of reaching her 99th birthday, but her mind was as still as sharp as could be!

She was born in Yale, South Dakota to John and Barbara Hofer and they moved to southern Alberta when she was one-year-old

Sarah was a faithful member of the Stirling Mennonite Church. She will be lovingly remembered for her hard work and unselfish nature, and she was a friend to everyone she met.

In addition to her loving sister Anne Hofer, Sarah is survived by her two sister-in-laws; Carolyn (Jacob) Hofer of Stirling and Wilma (Paul) Hofer of Raymond, plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and five sisters.

The family would like to express our warmest thanks to the doctors, nurses and home – care staff of the Raymond Hospital for their excellent care! A heartfelt thank you to Linda Ulrich for her loving care in the last six months. We also extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave of their time and talents to meet the daily needs that arose.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a viewing service from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2:00pm at the STIRLING MENNONITE CHURCH, Highway 52 and Range Road 201 South.

PATRICIA MARIA HORVAT (nee Eichhorn), beloved travelling companion of Patrick Horvat, and loving mother of Samuel and Matthew Horvat, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, February 28th, 2016 at the age of 55 years, where she succumbed to complications from metastasized colon cancer.

Mrs. Eleanor Jockims of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Clarence Jockims, passed away at St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the age of 79 years.

1977 – 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved one, Brandi-May Sokol of Lethbridge, AB on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the age of 39 years.

Brandi is survived by her children, Dylan Sokol, Kierstyn and Nevaeh Sanford, her mom, Kathy (Tim) Sokol and her Dad, Bill (Denise) Sokol and her sister, Misty Goebelhardt and nieces Brittani, Tavia and Abigail Goebelhardt, her grandma Margaret Floer and Uncle Duane Floer & his son Jeremy and family.

Brandi is also survived by Tim’s children Doran (Steph) McLennan, Cassie (Brett) Ducharme and Denise’s Children Becky Baunton, Jessica (Oliver) Leong, Matt Tuttle.

She was predeceased by her grandpa George Floer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South Lethbridge, with Reverend James Grunden officiating.
