Bouck-Otto

July 3, 1918 – April 10, 2016

The family of Kathleen Bouck-Otto wish to announce her peaceful passing on 10 April 2016 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 97 years.

Kathleen was predeceased by her first husband, Lyle Bouck, her eldest son, Lawrence (Larry) Bouck, her second husband, John Otto, and her sisters Frances Coates, Beatrice Stromsmoe, Hazel Dick and brother Walter Wright. She is lovingly remembered by her children James (Jim) (Donna) Bouck of Lethbridge, Joan (Albert) Patenaude of Winnipeg, Dan (Lucille) Bouck of Magrath; grandchildren Stephen (Lacey), Warren, and Josh (Tessa) Bouck, Brent (Stacey) Falkowski, Penny Durocher, Krystal (Kelly) Prout, Katherine (Calvin) Bouck, Andrea(Gerald) Patenaude, Janine (Kevin) Patenaude; 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Kathleen was born and raised on a farm in the Etzikom area and attended Normal School to become a teacher. She taught for several years before marrying her first husband, Lyle and raising their family in Lethbridge. Lyle passed away in 1979. Later in life, Kathleen met a wonderful man, John Otto. They were married in 2004 and enjoyed five very happy years together. After John’s passing in 2009, Kathleen moved to Winnipeg to be closer to her daughter, where she resided until her passing.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Monday, April 18, 2016 at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPEL 610-4th Ave S. Lethbridge, Alberta.

Interment will follow in the Archmount Cemetery.

WILFRED FUNK

WILFRED FUNK of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the age of 95 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son Steve (Pauline) Funk, his grandsons Kevin and Travis and his brother Roy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides his wife Hulda, Wilfred was predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Freeman, Edwin and Fred and sisters Christina and Adena.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mountainview Cemetery for family and friends on Monday April 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at Via Church (formerly River of Life Church), 2820 – 18 Avenue N, Lethbridge, AB at 2:00 PM.
