She was a resilient and beautiful spirit who was given the gift of life for ninety-nine years before leaving this earth on December 29, 2016 at Lethbridge, AB. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William Paskuski of Lethbridge, mother and stepfather, Jean and Robert Durham, sister, Isobel, brother Robert and grandchild, Jason Dueck. Marion left Oakshela, Saskatchewan as a young girl but always held fond memories of her birthplace, especially those of her sled dog, Buster, who was very dear to her heart. This affection for pets continued into her late eighties as Marion’s house was always home to, Dogs, Birds, and Mindy, her last cat that lived to the age of twenty-one. It was a Model T Ford that brought Marion west in the 1920’s with family at her side. After living in a few communities in British Columbia and Alberta, Marion eventually settled in Lethbridge, Alberta. It was here where Marion met William Paskuski, married in 1942 and raised three daughters. Although very reserved and private, Marion’s actions let you know how much she cared for her children, grandchildren and extended family. When visiting Marion, everyone always felt warm and welcome in the quiet comforts of her home. Marion lived a full and complete life. Ninety-nine years of great memories, experiences, change, challenges, love and adventure. What more could one ask for. A Service to celebrate and remember the life of Marion Paskuski will take place at the LETHBRIDGE SENIOR’S CENTER at 500 – 11th Street South, Thursday, January 5th from 2 PM to 4 PM.
