GILBERT EAGLESON

Gilbert Roy Eagelson of Fort MacLeod Alberta, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 30, 2017 at the age of 78.

Edith Helen Voth

1927 – 2017

EDITH HELEN VOTH (nee Hanke) of Lethbridge passed away at Good Samaritan West Highland on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the age of 89 years. Edith is survived by her daughter Norma Way of Lethbridge and her son Jeremy (Sonja) Martens of Edmonton and their children Violet and Jake; daughter Michelle (Gregory) Viviers of Calgary and their children Joshua and Caiden, daughter Danielle Martens of Calgary, and daughter Janelle (Jon Peters) Martens of Kelowna; daughter Linda (Ron) Rakos of High River and their sons Jamie and Kristopher of High River; daughter Leona (Doug) Kempt of Lethbridge and their son Jason (Rebecca) of Ottawa and daughter Kristy (Greg) Walker of Lethbridge; and daughter Donna (Don Boone) Voth of Calgary and Donna’s son Mitchell Stellar of Calgary; sister Malvina (Orville) Trumpour of Weyburn; brother Peter (Ida) Hanke of Vernon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her husband Edmund Voth, parents Marie and Peter Hanke, step-mother Minnie Hanke, sisters Lena Richardson, Irma Nagy, and Margaret Hanke, sister-in-law Bernice Hanke, brother-in-law Len Richardson, son-in-law Orlando Martens, and grandson Tyson Stellar. Edith loved her family and friends and will be remembered for her compassion and caring for all people, and her wonderful, and sometimes unusual, sense of humour. A special thank you goes out to all the staff at West Highland, especially the personal care assistants and nursing staff on the second floor. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 – 15 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. KALUSKA

VERA KALUSKA, beloved wife of the late Vincent Kaluska, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Therese Villa, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 108 years.

She is the loving mother of Kay (Einard) Haniuk of Lethbridge and is lovingly remembered by extended family in Lithuania.

She was predeceased by her husband Vincent and 11 brothers and sisters.

Vera was born April 7, 1908 in Cyrailiu, Lithuania. She came to Canada in 1929 with her new husband Vince and they settled in Lethbridge. Vera had many friends and had lots of social events at their home. She had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed by many.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.

A reception will follow in the Cornerstone Reception Room.

Interment will then take place in Mountain View Cemetery.

ROBINSON

LEA MARIE ROBINSON (Lybbert), beloved wife of Dooley Robinson, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 85. Lea was born June 18, 1931, the first child of Melby and Bessie Lybbert. She met Dooley and they married on March 22, 1950. They spent most of their married life living and raising their family on the Robinson farm on the Milk River Ridge. Lea will be missed by her children: Stewart (Carol) Robinson, Shannon (Gene) Kawade, Sharon (Scott) Borland, Scott (Sandy) Robinson; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings: Lois McCoy, John (Lois) Lybbert, David (Marsha) Lybbert, Helen (Dick) Wilde, and Beth O’Donnell. Lea was predeceased by her husband Dooley and granddaughter Gina Zilke. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL, 221 North 400 West, Raymond, Alberta at 12:00 noon. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. before the funeral.
