STANLEY LEE FAROUGH

Lee’s journey with us began in Deloraine, Manitoba on February 17, 1939 and ended in Pincher Creek, Alberta on April 7, 2017.

Lee grew up around Melita, Manitoba and found his way to Alberta in 1966 to work for Noble Cultivators as a long-haul trucker. Subsequently, Lee started working for the Department of Transport until his retirement after which he settled in Lundbreck.

Lee loved to drive – the further the better! Lee was always the first one to lend a hand, no matter the task. All who knew Lee knew that he had a strong faith that guided him through all of life’s challenges; it never wavered.

Left to mourn are his boys, Tony (Joyce), William (Shauna) and Chuck (Heather), his grandchildren Alex, Kate, Raelynn and Aubrey, his brother, Bruce (Thelma) and his sister, Peggy, as well as a many nieces and nephews. Lee also leaves behind many dear friends whom he cherished.

A celebration of Lee’s life will be held on Friday, April 21st at the Cowley Community Center at 2pm. David Jury and Marvin Tschetter will be officiating. A private family internment will follow at the Livingstone cemetery.

The family would like to thank the physicians and nurses at the Pincher Creek Hospital, as well as everyone in Lundbreck, who assisted Lee during his illness. We are truly appreciative.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Lee’s name.
