Eamon Campbell, beloved husband of the late Sharon Campbell, passed away in Taber on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the age of 85 years.

Clarence Johannes Jockims

1935 – 2017

Clarence Johannes Jockims of Lethbridge, beloved husband and soul mate of the late Eleanor Katherine Jockims, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 21, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Born November 12, 1935, the eldest child, to Emilie and Waltraud Jockims in Swift Current, Sask. Beloved Father to Kevin (Sandra), Terri (Bob) and Rosalie (Dave); cherished Papa to Kayli (Jordan), Kris (Vanessa), Jennifer, Sean, Samantha (Shaun), Shelby and Travis (Alex); brother to Larry (Gail), brother-in-law to Doreen, Marilyn (Harvey), Don and Dale (Clara), Uncle and cousin to many, friend to all. Also left behind to treasure his memory is his special friend Faye Cain. Besides his loving wife, Clarence was pre-deceased by his parents, brother-in-law’s Bob Andrew and Jim Keller and sister-in-law Flo Finkbeiner. Dad spent his working career plumbing and was well respected in the community as owner operator of LJ Mechanical. His guidance shaped many careers in the industry including his own children and grandchildren. In 1971, Dad and Mom moved to Lethbridge with their 3 kids and made it their home. They loved their many friends and being involved in the community. Family holidays were spent enjoying the great outdoors, camping, boating, quading and snowmobiling just to mention a few favorites. We were lucky enough to go to Disneyland as a family before us kids grew up and started families of our own. Dad was always involved with organizations including Kinsmen, CNIB, Heart to Heart, Sons of Norway and Nord-bridge Seniors Center. Most recently he joined a bowling league that he thoroughly enjoyed. He loved his Wednesday lunch outings with his group of dear friends. Dad and Mom travelled extensively during their retirement, including trips to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, and cruising to Alaska and the Panama Canal. They always made new friends wherever they went. Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday May 26, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street, S., Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Glenda Wert, officiating, light reception to follow. GRANT, Margaret “Lorraine”

July 25, 1952 – April 27, 2017

Margaret Lorraine Grant devoted daughter, professional urban planner, and devout Lay Reader in the Anglican Church passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the age of 64 years.

Lorraine was born in London, Ontario, the only child of Norman Grant (2005) and Margaret Jessie Grant, nee Ridley (2002). As a child, Lorraine lived in many different places throughout North America. After receiving a degree in Architecture from Carlton University and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Science from the University of Toronto, Lorraine headed west, to Lethbridge, Alberta where she worked for the Regional Planning Commission. In 1997, she moved to Calgary where she was an urban planner for The City until her retirement in 2010. Lorraine loved to travel. She journeyed to Kenya, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Israel and spoke with passion about the architecture and history of the places she visited. Lorraine volunteered at Calgary’s Food Bank and was active in Woman Aglow. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlework. Lorraine succumbed to her illness all too soon. She will be remembered fondly by her cousins, colleagues and friends. Lorraine will be reunited with her loving parents in Heaven.

Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the Intensive Care Unit at the South Calgary Campus Hospital and Renal Care Unit 37 at the Foothills Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 – 75th Avenue S.W.) on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the church. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.

BISHOP, Vila Sherwood December 30, 1926 – Cardston, AB May 18, 2017 – Calgary, AB

Vila Sherwood Dudley Bishop passed away peacefully in the late afternoon on May 18, 2017 at the age of 90.Vila was born in Cardston, AB on December 30, 1926 to Myrtle and Hosmer Dudley. She grew up in Southern Alberta where she married Alma (Ike) Bishop and had 6 children. Vila and Ike, with 4 children still at home, moved to Calgary in 1970, then later to Red Deer. Vila returned to Calgary in 1985 where she remained in her home in Woodbine. She will be greatly missed by her 5 sons, Rex, Lynn, Mark, Don and Kevin; 2 sisters, Delora and Marva; her 25 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren. Vila was predeceased by her parents; sisters Bernice and Thelma; and her precious daughter Colleen Ross, 5 years ago. Vila dedicated her life to being a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. She could cook and bake like no one and handle large groups like it was nothing. LENA MARSHALL-MOLINE

1926-2017

LENA MARSHALL-MOLINE passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 11th. She leaves to mourn her family Don Jr. (Shelley) Marshall and Brenda (Robert) Jurgens as well as granddaughter Shannon (Richard) Marshall, grandson Adam Jurgens and great-grandson Ryley Jurgens, who was her pride and joy. She is also remembered by several nieces and nephews.

She has reunited with her first husband Don Marshall as well as her son Gerald and granddaughter Tanya Jurgens. She was also predeceased last year by her second husband Art Moline.

Lena was daughter to Sylvio and Pierina Baceda, and sister to Enso and Bruno, whom she previously has laid to rest along with several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Mom will be sadly missed by her dear family, brothers and sisters-in-law of the Moline and Baceda families as well as many friends.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on her birthday, May 26, 2017 in the Field of Honour and a Celebration of her Life will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, 324 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, at 2:00 P.M., where friends are invited to attend.

ANNE NEUFELDT

January 6, 1925 – May 20, 2017

On May 20, 2017, God granted our mother, ANNE NEUFELDT, her wish and took her to her heavenly home. Mom passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 92 years with family by her side. She follows her husband Jake who was waiting to greet her. Others she looked forward to seeing again were her parents, all of her siblings, and many friends and loved ones whose lives she enriched with her love.

A Memorial Service will be held at the COALDALE MENNONITE CHURCH, 2316 – 17 Street, Coaldale, AB, on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.

Terran “Terry” Granberg

1957 – 2017

It is with great sadness the family of Terry Granberg announces his passing on May 22, 2017, at the age of 59 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born June 21, 1957 in Lethbridge, Alberta and raised in Foremost. Terry moved to Lethbridge and married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Debbie. Terry went peacefully surrounded and comforted by family in the early hours of the morning. He is survived by his loving wife Debbie, sons; Jordan (Lauren), Tanner (Celia), and granddaughter Isla. He is also survived by his father Wally, brother Rod (Roxanne and family), sister Darla (Don Hardy and family). Terry was predeceased by his mother, Gerry. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the FOREMOST COMMUNITY HALL, 802 1 Ave. W., Foremost, AB. Stephen G. Tollestrup

1934 – 2017

With deep sadness and comfort, the family of Stephen Glenn Tollestrup announce his passing May 22, 2017 at the age of 83, after a brave and valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Steve’s family meant everything to him. He and his wife Carol (Coombs) Tollestrup had ten children, including four adopted children. He is survived by his children Glenn (Linda) Tollestrup, Martie (Danny) Murphy, Jennifer (Barry Weintraub) Tollestrup, Jim (Cindy) Tollestrup, Amie (Scott) Yancey, Rachel (Doug) Atwood, Richard (Ruth) Tollestrup and Joanne Steed, along with 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by Carol, sons Tim & Matthew, grandson Stephen Tollestrup III, brother Jon (Jane) Tollestrup and sisters Sidney (Gordon) Spackman and Shirley (Robert) Tibbetts.

Steve was born in Raymond on April 2, 1934 to Ruth & Glenn Tollestrup. In his teenage years he began working closely with his father in establishing a road paving and sand and gravel business now known as Tollestrup Construction, where he spent the rest of his working life, eventually passing the torch on to his children Martie Murphy and Jim Tollestrup. In 1988 they ventured into fast food franchises, opening the first Alberta “Wendy’s” franchise. The company then branched into other franchise brands spanning all across Alberta. Steve and his father were very proud of the company they created and grateful for the extended family of people (many of them related) who have worked to build it over the last 80 years.

Steve was a gentle, kind and fun-loving soul. When he wasn’t at work or with his family, he could be found on the golf course or with the Big Gulp Gang (Steve with best buddies Doran Johnson and Phil Leier) at the local 7-11. Steve was a lifetime member of the YMCA, and remained physically active throughout his retirement years.

During his battle with Alzheimer’s, Steve was taken care of by his family, including especially his daughter Rachel, her husband Doug Atwood and their loving family, and more recently by the kind staff at Park Meadows Village.

Steve’s funeral will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 506 Highlands Blvd. West, Lethbridge. Meet the family from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m., followed by a service at 3 p.m. Interment to follow at Archmount Cemetery.
