MRS. JOAN PATRICIA CHRISTENSEN, beloved wife of Robert Christensen of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday July 7, 2017 at the age of 65 years. Funeral arrangements to be announced when completed.

HEAVY RUNNER
ALVIN “JOHN” HEAVY RUNNER passed away at his residence on July 5th, 2017 at the age of 57.
A Family Service will be at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, July 11th at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Wake Service at the Moses Lake Gym, Blood Reserve from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be at the Moses Lake Gym on Wednesday, July 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Blood Band Cemetery.

EDGAR “ED” STANLEY THERIAU, beloved husband of Edith Theriau, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on July 9, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
Along with his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Linda Campbell of Lethbridge, Sherilyn (Imre) Varro of Lethbridge, Tony Theriau of Stirling; grandchildren, Clint Campbell, Travis (Christal) Varro, Taylor Varro, Zane Theriau, Loren Hairy Bull and Bailey Mills, great-grandchildren: Tyrese Campbell, Mya Campbell and Maxine Varro and his siblings: Lemuel Theriau, Marilyn (Walter) Pahl, David (Marlene) Theriau, and Gwen Starblanket, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Ed is also remembered by Edith’s surviving sisters, Evelyn Geddert and Vivian (Ingmar) Jacobsen.
He was predeceased by his infant children, daughter Karen and son Gerald, brother Chuck Theriau, and sister Audrey Edler.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.
A Celebration of Life will be held at EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 4717 – 24 Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M with Pastors Ian Lawson, Selmer Hanson and Tim Seim officiating.
A Private Family Interment preceded the service.

Frank William Vanden Berg
1918 – 2017
Mr. Frank Vanden Berg passed away peacefully at St. Therese Villa in his 99th year on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Denie in 2009, and his daughter Joanne in 1998. He is lovingly remembered by his son Don (Nop) Vanden Berg, daughter Marilyn (Bob) Thomas, along with his grandchildren Nathan Vanden Berg, Christopher (Alisa) Thomas, Cari Ensign, Michael (Sheena) Thomas, Karma (Dave) Braun, and Kara Kubik. As well as his four great-grandchildren – Blake Ensign, Ashley Ensign, Spencer Thomas & Dawson Thomas. Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels. A private family graveside will take place at a later date in the Highfield Cemetery.
