EMILY BETEGH, age 67, beloved wife of the late Joseph Betegh, died unexpectedly September 1, 2017, from a tragic accident in her home.

Loyia (Greene) Harding passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the age of 80 years after a long battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered and eternally cherished by her husband of 56 years, Glenn; children Robert (Bonnie) Harding, Denise (Tyler) Mandin, Michael (Jaime) Harding, Janet (David) Thurgood, and Carma (Rob) Leishman; siblings Phyllis (Gordon) Wood, Kent (Jan) Greene, Lila (Robb) Sloan, Verla (Kim) Campbell; and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, extended family, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Addison and Amy Greene. Loyia had a deep and abiding faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She had a happy disposition and a genuine love of little children. She worked hard, gave selfless service, and always put others before herself. Friends may meet with family at 9:45 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS – North Stake Centre (560 Highlands Blvd. W. Lethbridge) on Saturday, September 23, 2017. It is with great sadness that the family of Rosa Racz (nee Csernik), announce the passing of their beloved mother. Rosa passed away in Taber on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 one week after celebrating her 92nd birthday with family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, whose life had no shortage of challenges, which she faced with faith, perseverance and humour. She lived a life that exemplified a strong Christian faith.

Rosa is survived by her children and their spouses Barbara (Donald) Ormson of Airdrie, Steve (Trudy) Racz of Taber, Andrew (Dawn) Racz of Sherwood Park, Mike (Mary) Racz of Whitehorse, Leslie (Cheryl) Racz of Grassy Lake, Frank (Shelley) Racz of Lloydminster, Violet Racz (Michael Burgess) of Kelowna, British Columbia, John Racz of Coaldale, David (Vanessa) Racz of Calgary and Robert Racz of Red Deer. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters. Rose’s surviving family in Hungary are her sister Terez Barabas of Budapest; brother Istvan (Maria) of Gara, Hungary and an extended family in Baja and Gara, Hungary.
Rose will be deeply missed by family and those whose lives were touched by her.

THOMPSON
GARRY MELVIN THOMPSON, 77, passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, September 11, 2017. He was born on July 18, 1940 in Hay Lakes, Alberta. Garry grew up on a dairy farm but became a Journeyman Carpenter by trade. Later in life his passion became collecting old pieces of furniture and fixing them up to give them a new purpose. Survivors include his two sons Troy (Tracey) and Shane Thompson, two grandchildren Taylor and Tanner Thompson, all from Lethbridge, and one brother Bob Thompson of Camrose. Garry was predeceased by his parents Melvin and JoAnna, two brothers Wayne and Ricky Thompson and one sister Wendy Brett. At Garry’s request there will be no formal service. A Celebration of Garry’s life will be held on Saturday, September 23, at 2:00 PM at LA Lounge, 542 13 St N, Lethbridge.
