Mr. Arie Stotyn of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:00pm and 8:00pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 25, 2017 in the Nobleford/Monarch Cemetery, RR235, just north of TWP RD 104.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the GRACE REFORMED CHURCH (formerly known as the First Christian Reformed Church), 1402 – 8th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB with Reverend Wybren Oord officiating.

John Peter Doeve

Mr. John Peter Doeve passed away with his best friend and loving wife, Brenda, by his side on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the age of 56 years. Besides his loving wife, John is survived by his mother, Trientje (Tina) Doeve; sons, Kyle (Jenn), Curtis (Victoria); granddaughters, Drea and Mia; stepdaughters, Christina (Justin) and their children, Christopher, Kayden, Lyric and Harmony; Terra (Dave) and their children, Kaitlyn, Brody and Connor; Mandy (Kyle) and their children, Keiran and Rainbow; Nikki (Adam); brothers and sisters, Henry (Caroline), Geoff (Karla), Grace (Les), Janet (Les) and Marion (Bill); father-in-law, Gordon Edgerton; sister-in-law, Sandi (Greg) Lewis; brothers-in-law, Len (Pat) Zebedee and Ed (Kitty) Zebedee. John will be missed by his fur baby Sydney (his dog); as well as numerous nieces as nephews and also by his aunt, uncle and cousins in Holland. He is predeceased by his father, Willem Doeve, on December 1, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the GRACE REFORMED CHURCH (formerly known as the First Christian Reformed Church), 1402 – 8th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB with Reverend Wybren Oord officiating. A private family burial will be held at Royal View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 1A129, 960- 19th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5. Special thanks to Dr. Dione Walsh and the caring staff at the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael’s as well as the wonderful, caring nurses at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre and John’s homecare nurses.

LANMAN, Robert “Bob” Allan 1953 – 2017

Bob was a patient and respectful son and brother, a caring and supportive friend, an athlete and a coach, a teacher and department head, a volunteer, a step-dad, a healthcare devotee, a blind man, and a solitary retiree…wait a minute – that’s 9 lives, that’s enough! After a somewhat prolonged and often challenging dance with life, Bob died peacefully during a sunny afternoon nap on September 17, 2017. He is survived by his guide dog Harris, sisters: Dr. Geri Lanman, Edie Kendall, Janice (Paul) Nadon, Susan (Hans) Gryzenhout, and Deidre Lamone; brother, Pat (Wendy) Lanman; stepdaughters: Leslie (Tom) DeRuyter and Kristy (Darren) Blair; along with several step-grandchildren, a few nieces and nephews, friends, and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Marg and Paddy Lanman, his brother Evan in 1984, and brother-in-law Buck Kendall in 2016. Reverend Stephen London will conduct a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park. No flowers please. Memorial donations may be made by those who wish to do so to any of the following charities: Dogs With Wings, Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation of Canada, and/or Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

DOUGLAS RONALD LEWICKI

May 9, 1942 – September 18, 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of DOUG LEWICKI announces the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather.

Doug was born in Edmonton, AB on May 9, 1942 and two days later moved to Tako, SK with his family, followed by Unity, SK. He began the chartered accountant class while in Kindersley, SK later switching to the hospital field. He was married to his wife, Gail, just shy of 52 years. They first settled in Kindersley, SK and moved to Lethbridge in 1967. Doug was an avid hockey enthusiast; he played as a child and later on in life played with the Lethbridge Bone Crushers. He also had a tremendous amount of love and loyalty toward the Saskatchewan Roughriders. His career in the hospital field took him from Kindersley, to Lethbridge, to Calgary, to Brooks and then finally to Coaldale. In 1996, Doug started working in the business office of the Green Haven Garden Centre until his retirement on January 22, 2010.

Doug is survived by his loving wife Gail, son Michael (Sharlene), son-in-law Russell and grandsons Brandon (Kaylyn), Brady and Dylan.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and his daughter.

Doug will be deeply missed by his family ad those whose lives were touched by him.

A Come-and-Go Reception will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Due to fragrance allergies and intolerance, flowers are gratefully declined and perfumes discouraged.

JOHN DUNN WILBOR, passed away with family by his side, reminding him of the good memories they shared along the way, at the Fairmont Extendicare on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the age of 92 years.
