John was born in Commerce, Alberta on August 4th, 1937.

John worked hard making his living as both a welder and a truck driver. He loved to work with his hands and could never stop tinkering. He enjoyed the country life and couldn’t wait to help with harvest and captain a tractor. He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters Barb (Ken) Wolosiuk, Lisa (Terril) McMurray and Taylor Chambers, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his stepson Steven Gracey (Asheley Ondrik) and their new baby. An immense loss is felt by his nephew Ralph (Darlene) Kowal and their family.
