HOLT

ROGER DEAN HOLT (RD), 51, passed away in Bucerias, Mexico on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Born September 23, 1966.

Son of the late Roger W. Holt and Barbara J. Salmon. RD will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children Asa and Avery Holt, whom he adored, both of Denver Colorado.

He is also survived by his siblings; Jason Holt, Hilary Holt-Brown, Candice Miller and Julie Holt, and many nieces, nephews and loved ones whom will miss him greatly. RD was raised in Raymond, AB. During his younger years he was a gritty Raymond Comet. He had the privilege of continuing his Football career while attending Snow College and later transferred to and graduated from Montana State University. RD loved his hometown; he enjoyed telling stories and history of his beloved land on the Milk River Ridge and spending time there sharing his knowledge with friends and family. His passion for fishing and the outdoors gave him respite later in life. He enjoyed much success in his life but none more so than the birth of his son and daughter. His legacy lives on in their hearts and memories. He was a friend to all who met him and was a character not easily forgotten.

His family invites you to celebrate his life with them on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, 260 E 200 N, Raymond, Alberta. He will be laid to rest beside his best friend, his father, Roger W. Holt. Friends are welcome to meet with the family prior to the Service on Monday November 13, 2017 from 10:00 to 10:45am at the church.
