ADAMSON

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Adamson, loving mother of Camille (Bradley) Richards and beloved Gran of Briggs & Reegan Hall-Thomsen, Dylan and Robyn Richards. After a short battle with cancer Shirley passed away on April 1, 2018 surrounded by family and friends at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 61.

Shirley is survived by her father Cleve Adamson, her three brothers David, Rick (Shelley) & Kevin Adamson and her four nieces and nephews Amanda, Brittney, Thomas & Brady Adamson.

She was predeceased by her mother Mona Adamson and her step-mother Charlene Adamson.

Shirley thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping, working in her yard, trips to Waterton and family gatherings of any sort. She was obsessed with owls and all things zebra print, but it was no secret her greatest loves were her grandkids.

Shirley left her friends and family with many wonderful memories and she will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m at the STIRLING LDS CHURCH – 413 3 St, Stirling, AB T0K 2E0, with a luncheon to follow.

Frank Bogusky

1940 – 2018

Mr. Frank Junior Bogusky passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Frank was lovingly cared for by the staff of St. Michael’s Palliative Care team and his loving daughters until his passing.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Don (Dorothy) Bogusky of Lethbridge and Alfred (Ann Pappert) Bogusky of Guelph, ON; his two daughters Dale (Blair) Nelson of Milo, AB and Tara (Anthony) Brummelhuis of Vauxhall, AB.

Frank was so proud of his many grandchildren: Travis (Natasha) Nelson of Fairview AB, Taylor (Derek) Meier of Hays, AB, Mitchell (Carissa) Brummelhuis of Vauxhall, AB, Mack (Makayla Tashiro) Brummelhuis of Vauxhall, AB and Carmen, Jessica and Malia Brummelhuis of Vauxhall. AB.

Frank was also so proud of his great-grandsons Jackson Nelson, Kayden and Brodie Meier and Marcus Brummelhuis; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank and Mildred (Kostelnik) Bogusky; his brother Roy Bogusky; and his daughter Val Renae Bogusky.

A Celebration of Franks Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday April 14, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th Street S., Lethbridge, AB.

PATRICK MARSHALL CARLSON

March 30, 1952 – April 4, 2018

Pat passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at the Cardston Hospital on April 4 at the age of 66.

He is survived by his loving spouse of over 40 years, Marian June Carlson; his children, Jody, Clint (Sarah) Rampold, Paddy (Josh) Storey, Terry and Tony (Jocelyn); grandchildren, Earl & Ash-Leigh, Steel, Westin & Kyle and Rylee (Jayde) & Jordynn; sisters Vicki (Wes) VanderMeer and Marie (Mike) Harder; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pat was predeceased by father Tonie, Mother Betty and siblings Victor, Wes and Wendy. Pat lived most of his life on the family ranch and worked at Lookout Butte Gas plant for many years. Pat will be much missed by family and friends.

Friends may meet the family at the Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, April 10th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, April 11th at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the Mountain View Cemetery. Luncheon and Gathering at Cardston Legion to follow.

H. MELVIN “MEL” FISHER, Ph.D., died peacefully on Tuesday, April 4th, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; daughter, Renee; brother, Dave (Sharon); plus extended family and numerous friends around the world. Mel was predeceased by his parents, and four older brothers. AGNES “AGGIE’ KOCH (nee Beekhof) beloved wife of VICTOR Koch of Lethbridge, passed away with her husband and son by her side at the St. Therese Villa, on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 76 years.

She is the loving mother of Calvin (Darlene) Koch of Lethbridge; Oma to Hailey (Chais) Thompson of Edmonton and Jamie (Jerrett) Bakaric of Lethbridge and four great granddaughters.

She is also survived by brothers Bert and Bill (Hennie), sisters Nel (Lep), Rose (Stan), Henny (Doug), sister in law Anneke (Gary), Lies (Case) and Gerrie as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Willem & Tuiny, infant son Daniel, her niece Shelly and a sister in law Carla.

Aggie was a loving and extremely generous person, passionate about her grandchildren, family & friends. Always the life of the party! She was happiest traveling on the open road to anywhere. Her favorite things were spending time with family, sing a longs at the piano and finding the perfect outfit! Our family will never be the same.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Reformed Church, 1100-40th Avenue North, Lethbridge on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. John Van Eyk officiating.

A Private Family Graveside was held prior to the service at Mountain View Cemetery.

Allan Meroniuk

1935 – 2018

Mr. Allan Meroniuk of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Meroniuk, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the age of 82 years.

Allan farmed many years in the Legend area and loved fishing and camping. He went to school in Foremost, Alberta.

Allan is survived by his sister Doris (Dan) Klotz of Calgary; brother Roy (Gayla) Meroniuk of Arizona; as well as several step children and nieces and nephews.

Besides his loving wife Elizabeth, Allan was predeceased by his parents Toots and Mike Meroniuk.

Catherine North Peigan (nee Crow Eagle) was born on March 17, 1934 at Brocket, AB and departed to the heavenly kingdom peacefully on April 1, 2018 at the Chinook Regional Hospital and was surrounded by her immediate family at the age of 84 years.

A Wake service will be held from 6:00pm to 10:00pm on Monday, April 9, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Visitation will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at PIIKANI COMMUNITY HALL, Brocket, AB. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with graveside service at PIIKANI CEMETERY.

BERNARD POELZER, of Milk River, passed away peacefully at the Milk River Health Centre Long Term Care, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the age of 77 years.
