GERALD KOSTKA, of Lethbridge, beloved companion of Maria Buckman, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the age of 78 years.

A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery.

Daniel “Dan” Edward Lee

1955 – 2019

Sadly we announce the death of Dan Lee of Lethbridge, formerly of Toronto, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, the day following a celebration of his 64th birthday.

Dan was much loved by his family of many close friends and long term partner of almost 40 years, Charlene Haley.

He was predeceased by his parents Audrey June Lee and Edward “Ted” Thomas Lee formerly of Toronto.

We are honouring Dan’s wishes that there be no formal service, instead his close friends will gather together in his memory at a later date.

Those who wish, memorial donations in Dan’s name may be made to one of his preferred charitable organizations; Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, Bird Studies Canada, Alberta Wilderness Association or to the Rainy River Public Library.

VAN LUYK

God called David home because he needed him to fix something.

DAVID WAYNE VAN LUYK, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the age of 51 years.

He is survived by his beloved parents, Jacob & Maria Van Luyk; his sisters, Cheryl Van Luyk and Anita (Tony) Van Ee; his niece and nephews, Tony Jr., Eric and Kristie Van Ee, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Tekla & John Melnyk and Jean & Peter Van Luyk.

David was a quiet, gentle and hardworking soul who was always riding his bike in the coulees or golfing in the greens. He was a man of many talents who loved to help everyone. He will be immensely missed by everyone who loved him.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
