BOULTON

ROBERT “BOB” BOULTON known by many of his friends as Buddy, passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s at the age of 89 years.

He is survived by his children Larry (Adella), Nancy, Annamarie (Chris) and Scott (Monica); his grandson Matthew and his brother Dr. James Boulton. He was predeceased by his lovely and loving wife Dorothy, his parents and many wonderful pets that were a part of his life.

Bob worked his entire career as an accountant in partnership with his father. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bird, game and big game hunting and was an expert fly fisherman using his own creations. Along with his German shorthaired pointer bird dogs, the family also enjoyed a long sequence of dachshunds imaginatively named either Sammy or Baron and cats named Casey. He was known to walk the neighbourhood giving out milk bones to the dogs along the route. He knew most of the animal’s names but not so much the owners.

Too young to serve in the war, Bob supported our country’s military efforts by being an accountant in eastern Canada with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Bob was well read on the Second World War and an expert on the campaigns of the Eastern Fronts. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion as well as the IOOF (International Order of Odd Fellows).

The family would like to thank Dr. Colin Walsh for his support as well as the staff at St. Michael’s who cared for Bob for so many years. A special thank you also goes to his Quality Care companion Ashley who provided Bob with many hours of friendship and love.

Bob requested that there be no funeral. In lieu of flowers we ask that you remember Bob’s love of animals through a donation to any local cat or dog rescue organization.

Robert Roy Duncan

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Roy (Bob) Duncan announces his passing, on Monday, June 17th, at the age of 69 years. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Jo Anne and his children, Ashley (Ken) Andrew, Luke, and Jackson; Rob (Tina) Addison and Ryder, Tyler (Susan) Abigail and Mia. Bob will also be fondly remembered by his mother Norma, and his brother Terry (Lynette) Duncan, Mother-in-law Shirley Christie and numerous family relatives. Bob was predeceased by his father Ross Roy Duncan.

Bob had numerous loves in his life. First and foremost his love for Jesus Christ. Bob was known to his friends as ‘Pastor Bob’. The love of his life, and high school sweetheart, of 50 years is his wife Jo Anne and of course this love extended to his family. He was extremely proud of all of them and their accomplishments as they followed in his footsteps in business endeavors. Bob’s love for business and real estate development along with his entrepreneurial spirit led him to build and develop many projects in Canada and United States. Bob loved a challenge which was always evident in his business pursuits. Bob had a great love of flying and was affectionately known as ‘BobAir’. Any guest in the presence of Bob quickly learned of his love for great wine and hospitality. A love of outdoor hunting and fishing adventures with his boys was always a priority for Bob. Golf was a hobby for both Bob and Jo Anne and if you couldn’t find them check the golf course as they were surely on a tee box or green somewhere.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Bob’s Life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at Canvas Church; 255 Summit Ridge, Kalispell MT, with Rev. Steve Bateman officiating.
