Harold “Bud” Hudson

1924 – 2019

Mr. Harold “Bud” Hudson of Lethbridge passed away at St. Therese Villa on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Bud was raised on the family farm in Wilson Siding area and attended White and McNally schools. He served in the Second World War as a Mechanical Engineer for the RCAF. After the war, Bud followed his passion and returned to the farm which he loved. He took great pride in growing crops (that were the envy of his neighbors) and taking meticulous care of his farmstead and his green equipment. When time permitted, he pursued his hobbies of woodworking, photography and travel. Bud was a quiet unassuming man who led by example. He was fair, honest, hardworking and generous not only with his time and equipment to neighbors, but also to the many charities he supported monetarily. Family and friends were important to Bud with whom he loved to share his quick wit and humour. Bud will be missed by all who knew him. Bud was predeceased by his parents Harold and Mary, and sister Roberta Scotten. A public Graveside Service will be announced at a later date.
