John William Chute

1925 – 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of John (Jack) William Chute on February 12, 2020, loving husband to Cecile Marie Chute nee (Bouchard).

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00pm, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at ST. AMBROSE PARISH, 1513 23rd Ave, Coaldale, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at ST. AMBROSE PARISH, 1513 23rd Ave, Coaldale, Alberta, with Father Ian Gagne celebrant. Interment to be held at a later date.

Malcolm Howells
1967 – 2020
Malcolm Robert Howells, beloved husband of Tracey Howells (nee DeBona), passed away with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer in Barnwell on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the age of 52 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and at the church prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.

Malcolm will be deeply missed by Tracey, his loving wife of twenty eight years and their children Colton Howells (Kyla Kerr) of Taber and Kassidy Howells (Ryan Tessemaker) of Taber. He is also survived by his mother Sharon Howells (Al Davidson); his siblings Rhonda (Bob) Wagner, Darren (Melanee) Howells and Michelle (Mike) Cook; his in-laws, Tracey’s father John R. DeBona (Gurli Journoud) and her siblings Debi (Blake) Fletcher, Rhonda DeBona (Derrik French), Denise (Paw) Pedersen, Danny (Lindsay) DeBona and Lisa DeBona. Malcolm will also be remembered by numerous nieces nephews who were very special to him and by his life long best friend Kelly (Chris) Murphy.
He was predeceased by his father Robert Howells and his mother-in-law Margaret DeBona.
Malcolm and Tracey have been sweethearts since 1983, soulmates. Malcolm, Tracey, Colton and Kassidy lived in Barnwell where they worked on the family business RLS oilfield services.
Malcolm was grateful to raise his family and build a life in a community that he loved so much. He was also so grateful for the Barnwell families and their friendships.
Malcolm had important and loving relationships with so many people and it spanned through so many different areas of life. Relationships that became friendships and friendships that became like family.
Malcolm was a true outdoorsman and his love of hunting and sledding was passed on to his kids, he was so fortunate to share his skill and knowledge with them and they enjoyed so many great adventures together.
He will be forever missed.

Lyle Murray

1931 – 2020

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Lyle Murray, who passed away on February 11, 2020. He was born on January 30, 1931, and just celebrated his 89th birthday Lyle is predeceased by his loving wife Jackie; daughter Wendy and son in law Bruce. He leaves behind his children, Rob (Diane), Sherry (Gerry), Kelly (Dee), and Gary, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and a very special friend Mildred Jorgenson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge, on Friday, February 21st at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

John Wipf

1969 – 2020

Mr. John Wipf of New Rockport Farming, beloved husband of Mrs. Susanna Wipf, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at the age of 51 years.

Besides his loving wife Susanna, John is survived by his four children Kenneth, Rosanna, Juli and Adam; along with five brothers and one sister.
