BRITTNER

ANTHONY “ANTON” GEORGE BRITTNER passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Anton is survived by his four children and their families, whom he all loved and cherished deeply.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanette, in February 2020.

Kelsea Laurina Dekok

2020 – 2020

With deep sorrow we announce that the Lord has suddenly taken away our dear daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, great great granddaughter, niece and cousin.

Kelsea Laurina Dekok passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the tender age of 3 months old.

Besides her loving parents Kyle and Laurie Dekok, Kelsea is survived by her grandparents, John and Cathy VanderWaal and Rick and Mary Dekok; uncles aunts and cousins, Rebecca and Garrit Vis (Natalie, Alyssa, Jenna), Justin and Amy VanderWaal (Alexa, Nicholas, Madelyn), Joshua VanderWaal (Kayla Neels), Jolene VanderWaal (Johnny Friesen), Rylan and Sarah Dekok (Ainsley, Abigail and Chad), Justin Dekok and fiancé Margo VanGarderen, Nicole Dekok (Mark Vanden Broek), Chantel Dekok (Dan Oostenbrink), and Lynnae Dekok; great grandparents, Ken and Margaret Both and Pamela VanderWaal, Huib and Jannie Dekok, and Elizabeth VandeBruinhorst, and great great grandmother, Laurina Engelsman.

Kelsea was predeceased by her great grandfathers, John VanderWaal. (2012) and Evert VandeBruinhorst (2009).

Interment to follow in the Memorial Cemetery of Picture Butte, Picture Butte, Alberta.

Donald “Don” Geddes

1939 – 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Bryce Geddes, beloved husband of Olga Geddes, who passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 16, 2020 following a year long illness at the age of 81 years.

Don was born in Griswold, Manitoba on July 30, 1939. He married Olga on September 16, 1961 in Estevan, Saskatchewan and raised 2 children, daughter Donna (Rob) Geddes; son Glenn (Dee) Geddes. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren Lorne (Arielle) Geddes, Scott (Citabria) Geddes; 3 great-grandchildren Asher and Evelyn Faherty-Geddes and Kendrick Geddes; brother Bill (Ruth) Geddes; sister Elaine (Fred) Molyneux as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Don was predeceased by his parents Bryce and Willa Geddes and sister Margaret Geddes.

A Viewing will be held from 3:00pm – 5:00pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Graveside will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at ARCHMOUNT CEMETERY, 2710 Westside Drive West, Lethbridge, Alberta.

Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

GROSS, JOSEPH

1940-2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear Dad and Grandfather Joseph Gross.

Joseph was born at the Big Bend Colony (Woolford) in 1940 and passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on August 16, 2020.

Joseph moved to Greenwood Colony, Fort Macleod in 1999. He was an active Colony member and a welder for 42 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Anna of 47 years; his 5 daughters: Judy (Joe) in Clearlake, Alberta, Tabitha, Brenda (Josh) in Glacier, Montana, Clara (Paul) in Butte, Saskatchewan and Linda; as well as 10 Grandchildren.

There will be an interment on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at Greenwood Colony Cemetery.

1962 – 2020

Adrian John Oostlander passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 58 years, beloved husband of Corrie Oostlander of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory two stepchildren, Kenneth Schafer and Shelbey Schafer; his sister, Gerda (Gary) Van Voorst and their children, Doug (Shanon) and family and Debbie (Mike) Mackie and family; his brother, Darcy (Tracey) and their children, Lucas and Matthew. He was predeceased by his parents, Adrianus and Gerrie Oostlander.
