Mr. Stanley “Stan” Carmichael of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Joyce Carmichael, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 89 years.

SUSAN GEAN GALLUP

Dec. 14, 1947 – Jan. 9, 2021

Susan Gean Gallup, age 73, after declining health passed away peacefully January 9, 2021 in her home in Kansas City, MO. She was born to the late Grant and Gean Wheeler on December 14, 1947 in Magrath Alberta. She is survived by her husband Allen Gallup and her six children; Scott Gallup, Christy Coombs, Brad Gallup, Kari Perry, Michelle Woodruff, and Reagan Gallup.

Susan was a homemaker, educator, accomplished pianist as well as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints where she served as ward and stake relief society president. She also held many other leadership positions with the youth and primary age children.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00pm Central Standard time. At the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel 6751 Northeast 70th Street Kansas City Missouri. The service will also be available online at http://www.ChurchArcherPasley.com.

TERRY LANE MANY FINGERS “Pá’náótoo” (Arrived Early) passed away suddenly on January 7th, 2021 in Claresholm, AB at the age of 26 years. A Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, January 19th from 9:00 – 11:00 am with a Family Service to follow at 11:00 am. Due to COVID -19 Restrictions only 10 people will be allowed into the service at a time. Interment in the Blood Band Cemetery.

Mr. Ralph Ostenberg of Milk River, beloved husband of Mrs. Karen Ostenberg, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the age of 88 years.

THOMAS

RICHARD “RICK” JAMES THOMAS, the beloved husband of Carol Thomas, of Coaldale, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Thursday, December 31st, 2020, at the age of 77 years.

Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife Ida Caroline “Carol”, one son, Jason Thomas, daughter, Lisa McLean, and three grandchildren.

When Rick was seven years old, he sang on a radio show, CJOC Live. He and Carol married on January 23rd, 1993, and spent many happy times together. Besides being a manager of a bank, Rick played in a band, travelled to many destinations including Mount Rushmore, put model ships together, and collected model cars. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion (GS Branch #4). He was a man quick to dance or laugh, despite the long struggle with COPD. His quiet courage, strength of spirit, creativity and sense of humor will be carried forward by those who knew and loved him.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Frank Harms officiating.
