Barbara Ayerhart

1947 – 2021

Mrs. Barbara Ayerhart of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Tom Ayerhart, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 73 years.

Barb was born in Lethbridge on October 1, 1947 to parents Chester and Elizabeth Pocza. She spent her entire life in Lethbridge where she met the love of her life, Tom, when she was just 14 years old. They dated for 4 years then married in 1965. Together they had 2 children and they raised them with all of their might. Barb was committed to her family going forward and lived her life always taking care of everyone. Christmas dinners were her specialty.

Barb was always a strong woman, but when her husband passed away in 2000, she started to lose her strength. We are comforted to know that she is now back with the love of her life.

Barb is survived by her daughter Tracey Wiebe; son Carlin (Susan) Ayerhart; grandchildren Allan Wiebe, Lemmy Ayerhart, Lily Ayerhart and Carson Hueyn Wiebe; brothers Roy Pocza and Grant Pocza

Besides her loving husband Tom, Barb was predeceased by her parents Chester and Elizabeth Pocza.

A private family Graveside Service will be held in the Mountain View Cemetery.

Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Lethbridge and District Humane Society, 2920 16th Avenue North, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1H 5E9.
