Margaret Baczuk

1936 – 2021

First My Mother, Forever My Friend

The children of Margaret Baczuk are heartbroken to announce the passing of their precious Mom in the early morning of Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Mom was such an amazing woman who loved to cook, bake, garden and be in charge of her family. There are so many fond memories of tail gate parties in the field during beet harvest time; a feast of cabbage rolls, potatoes, gravy, fresh baked bread and greens from Mom’s prize garden, apple, peach, lemon and chocolate pies. She would always bring a bottle of hot coffee on long days so we wouldn’t fall asleep while driving loads of sugar beets to Coaldale or Broxburn and the homemade crab apple juice was freely flowing at all times. Mom’s kitchen was always open; many stories were told at that Board Room (Kitchen) Table. After Dad’s passing, Mom especially found solace with her cats Lulu Lemon and Mooshie.

Mom’s sense of humor, fierce love for her family and the consistent strength she displayed whenever the need to defend us. was beyond admirable.

Mom was pre-deceased by her devoted and loving husband John, her parents, Michael and Teresa Hetesy, a sister, two brothers and their spouses.

Margaret is survived by her four children; Dwayne (Coby), Brenda (Charles), Linda and Darryl (Denise). She is also survived by her four grandchildren Chad, Destiny, Jordan and Dylan.

A public Funeral Service to celebrate and honour our Mom will be held at 1:00pm, on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Numbers 6;24-26 – May the Lord bless you and protect you.

May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

May the Lord show you his favor and give you His Peace.
