It is with great sadness that the family of MARLENE JOEANNE DOW (née Filgas) passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 83 years.

A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating. JOHNSON

LINDA ANNE JUDD JOHNSON, beloved wife of Christopher Johnson, died after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s on November 29, 2021 at St. Michael’s Health Centre. She was 68 years old.

She is predeceased by her parents, Grace and Charles Judd, and her siblings Gilbert Judd and Sandra Follis.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Christopher Johnson; her children Rachel (Michael) Grisdale, Lauren (Eldon) Johnson, and Nathan Johnson; her grandchildren Jack and Freyja Grisdale; her sisters Merle Still and Elaine (Bob) Maslen; and her brother-in-law Robert Follis.

Linda’s career was as a teacher and homeschool facilitator for over 35 years. She had a passion for education, art, reading, and writing. She also had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ that influenced every area of her life. She is lovingly remembered and missed by her family.

Family meet-and-greet to be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 7:00 to 8:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints STIRLING CHAPEL (413 3 St, Stirling). Please contact Salmon and Sons to book a time to attend – all family and friends are welcome. Masks will be mandatory.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stirling. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in-person attendance at the Funeral Service is by invitation only.

All family and friends are invited to watch the live-stream funeral service. The link to view the service will be available on the Salmon and Sons Website.

Burial will be at the Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond following the Funeral Service. The burial is open to all family and friends to attend in person with no RSVP needed.

CELESTE ZEINSTRA, passed away peacefully with John, her loving husband of 47 years and her son Roger by her side, at the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 66 years.

The Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405-12th Ave. South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating. The Mass will be livestreamed and may be accessed via Celeste’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.

A public Reception will be held following the Mass at the ITALIAN CANADIAN CULTURAL CENTRE, 1511 St. Edward Blvd. North, Lethbridge, AB.

All are welcome to attend, beginning at 6:00 P.M. and music will be provided. Please be advised that the Restrictions Exception Program will be in effect requiring proof of vaccination and picture ID or a negative Rapid COVID test within 72 hours.

Interment will be held at the IRON SPRINGS CEMETERY, Iron Springs, AB on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Tim Boyle officiating.
