WHITE MAN, Amelia WHITE MAN With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our sweet and loving “Myu” Amelia Ellie White Man, on December 28, 2022. Amelia was born on May 28, 2010 to her loving parent’s Tyrone White Man and Bernadette Gros Ventre Boy in Cardston, Alberta. Amelia leaves to mourn her father Tyrone and her mother Bernadette (Kyle) , her sibling’s Sarah & Jade White Man and Jaxx and Daniels White Quills. Amelia also leaves to mourn paternal grandparents, Melvin and Christine White Man, paternal great grandfather Reggie White Man. Maternal grandparent’s Molly Hairy Bull, maternal great grandfather Harrison Wolf Child. Amelia also leaves to mourn her aunts and uncles, Melanie White Man (Dick), Marty (Bonnie) Across The Mountain, Cassie White Man, Tracy (Sam) Young Pine, Christina White Man, Luke (Danielle) Across The Mountain, Thea Bare Shin Bone, Damien Shouting, Appelonia Morning Bird and Deanna Black Plume and numerous cousins. Extended family also mourning her passing are, great aunts Evelyn Across The Mountain (Patrick), Linda (Craig) Fox, Rita Calf, Theresa Knowlton, great uncles Patrick White Man and Eugene Hairy Bull, great great aunts MaryAnn Across The Mountain (Les), Margaret Across The Mountain (Ron). Amelia was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Reo Hairy Bull, paternal great grandparent’s Leona (Calf) White Man, Martin Hairy Bull and Theresa Across The Mountain, maternal great grandmother Mary Rose Gros Ventre Boy. Amelia was also predeceased by aunt Shayla Shouting, uncles Reno Shouting and Andy Gros Ventre Boy, great aunt Lisa Across The Mountain, great uncle’s Ronald (Rose Mary), Terrence and Martin Jr. Across The Mountain, Robert Calf and Richard “Ricky” White Man. Amelia is survived by many relatives in the White Man, Calf, Hairy Bull, Across The Mountain, Gros Ventre Boy and Wolf Child families. Her extended family in Siksika include relatives in the Sun Walk, Sleigh and Many Bears families. Our sweet “Myu ” will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Wake Service will be held at Legacy, Cardston on Friday, January 13 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Glenwood, Alberta on Saturday, January 14 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Blood Reserve, AB.

DANGEL, Cheryl CHERYL (RASMUSSEN) DANGEL Cheryl (Rasmussen) Dangel passed away on December 27, 2022 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho where she had retired with her husband, Chuck. Cheryl was born on Nov. 4, 1945 in Magrath, Alberta, to Iven and Hazel Rasmussen, the oldest of 6 children. She told me the war ended because she was born, and I believed her. She grew up on a family farm in Del Bonita and attended school there as well. She was an excellent student and loved a good time, and had many friends. Cheryl was kind and good. Whether it was hard times or happy times, she was loving and gentle, selfless and giving. She will be remembered for her charity towards others. Cheryl completed her nurse’s training in Lethbridge, and travelled far north to Fort Simpson, south to Texas, and to Idaho, and many places in between, as a nurse caring for others. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Cheryl is survived by her siblings, Beverly (Will) Popowich, Russell (Sadie), Myrna (Jim) Layton, Cindy (Joe) Lamoureux, and Wesley (Jacquie), and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Chuck in 2022 and her parents Iven in 1996 and Hazel in 2018.
A memorial service will be held in May 2023.

SELNES, Theresa THERESA SELNES 1962 – 2023 Mrs. Theresa Selnes of Lethbridge passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the age of 60 years.
Theresa will be sadly missed and remembered with love. Funeral arrangements will be announced when completed.

HALL, Kathleen Hall, Kathleen June 3, 1948-Jan. 9, 2023 Kathy (Kohkonen) Hall passed away January 9th, 2023, in Calgary surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Kathy is predeceased by her parents Betty and Raymond Kohkonen and her beloved husband Brent. Kathy is survived and will be missed by her children Kiima (Rich) Cree, Ryan (Terra) Hall, Todd (Dusty) Hall, Kyle (Annie) Hall, Karli (Daniel) Atkinson, Brooke (Josh) Sabey and 26 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Monday January 16th from 6-8 pm and prior to the funeral service on Tuesday January 17th between 12 and 12:40 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4924-3rd Street East, Claresholm.

MICHALENKO, Margaret MARGARET MICHALENKO 1945 – 2023 Mrs. Margaret Mary Michalenko of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Alexander Michalenko, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the age of 77 years.
Margaret was born in Salzburg, Austria on November 16, 1945 to parents Michael and Paraskeva Tunow. The family arrived in Canada on April 12, 1949, where they first lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, then to Coaldale, Alberta to work on a sugar beet farm. They eventually settled in Lethbridge where she graduated from Winston Churchill in 1964.
Her first job was at Jack’s Coffee Shop, then the Bank of Nova Scotia, followed by CJOC TV and finally Holiday Bowl where she became co-owner. She loved bowling, gardening, bingo, traveling and baking, and was a lifetime member of the 5 Pin Bowlers Association.
Besides her beloved husband Alexander, Margaret is survived by her son Nicholas Michalenko; sister Ann Becker, and brother Walter Tunow.
She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Paraskeva Tunow; son David Michalenko, and brother-in-law Gary Becker.

KLUCZNY, Mary KLUCZNY MARY PATRICIA “PAT” KLUCZNY, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Dale Kluczny, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 83 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Kelly Clampitt (Larry Ivan), Scott Kluczny and Bryan (Stacey) Kluczny, grandchildren, Chanelle (Aaron) Bauer, Adam (Katie) Clampitt and Nick and Alex Kluczny, great-grandchildren, Payten, Avarie and Monroe, sisters, Eileen (Frank) Peta and Barb (Mac) MacLean, sister-in-law, Lois Kluczny as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat was born in Lethbridge to Reg and Mary Chisholm. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School (now CCHS) and attended post secondary education to earn her certificate in Interior Design. Pat stayed at home with her children but over many years also sewed draperies for Graham’s Upholsteries & Draperies, Sears Custom Draperies and Eaton’s Custom Draperies Dept. She also worked for Bojangles Jewellers, Eaton’s in their Designer Outlet and Men’s Wear Dept. as well as their Candy Dept., then at Laura Secord Chocolates.
Pat enjoyed staying active as a competitive bowler in her Ladies Women’s League and the camaraderie of friends as a member of the Red Hatters Group with their many events and travels.
Her creative spirit shined over the years in her ceramics and quilting projects. Pat loved Major Junior hockey and was an avid fan and season ticket holder of the Lethbridge Broncos then Hurricanes.
Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on family holidays, birthdays and celebrations of every kind. Pat was so proud of all of their achievements and enthusiastically supported them in their various competitive sporting and dance events as their biggest cheerleader.
She was always willing to help in her community with volunteer roles for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and helping with the St. Patrick’s Church Funeral Receptions.
Pat will be remembered as a caring, kind and compassionate person and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.
A private Family Interment will be held in MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, Lethbridge, AB, where Pat will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Bob.
