A Wake Service will be held at the Tanner Center, Cardston on Tuesday, February 28 from 5:00 – 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston (950 Main St) on Wednesday, March 1 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Small Eyes Family Cemetery.

PANTHER BONE, Lisa PANTHER BONE Lisa Panther Bone, passed away on February 16, 2023 in Calgary at the age of 58 years.

BOSNJAK, Daniel “Dan” BOSNJAK July 30, 1958 – February 21, 2023 DANIEL “DAN” MARTIN BOSNJAK, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 64 years.
Dan is survived by his beloved partner of 13 years, Elisabeth Joan Arneson and two wonderful sons, Dustin Daniel William Bosnjak and Kurtis Anthony Bosnjak.
Dan was predeceased by his father, Joseph Bosnjak and mother, Elisabeth Theresa Bosnjak.
Dan was a floor layer at End of the Roll for over twenty years. He was a proficient and highly skilled tradesman. A hard worker, he had a strong passion for life. Dan was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, baseball, hockey, and shooting pool. He lived a robust and grateful life. You could often find him camping around Beaver Mines, or the Crowsnest Pass area. He was loved by so many having a warm heart and a great sense of humor. Dan was active in sports and played in many ball tournaments around the Lethbridge area.
Dan will live in our hearts, be missed by many, but not forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.

NISHIJIMA, Kiyoto “Kiyo” NISHIJIMA With deep sadness we have said goodbye to a special person. Someone we loved and who can never be replaced.
Kiyoto (Kiyo) Nishijima was Born on February 3, 1933 in New Westminster BC and just celebrated his 90th birthday. He passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on February 19, 2023.
Kiyo worked for many years as a Parts Salesman for Fleming Motors and ended his career at Mountview Dodge as their first employee to retire from this dealership.
Kiyo loved to participate and watch all sports. He was a very sociable person and developed many friendships along the way. He was fortunate to come from a large family and loved spending time with them. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for family, friends or even a stranger.
He is survived by his wife Tokiko (Toki) whom he was married to for 66 years. His two daughters Elaine (Randy) Joevenazzo, Kelly (Randy) Scoville. Grand children Chelsii Scoville, Bryson (Karrie) Joevenazzo, great grandson Braylen Joevenazzo. Rayelle Joevenazzo, Kiyomi Scoville. He is also survived by his siblings Marjorie Tomomitsu (Kaz) predeceased, Irene (Paul) Rohrer, Don (Maureen) Yamagishi, Lloyd Yamagishi (Marion), Rick (Terri) Yamagishi and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Yajiro and Shizue Yamagishi. His brothers Bill Nishijima, Richard Nishijima, sister Mary Nishijima and his nieces Karyn Yamagishi and Naomi Nishijima.
There will be an intimate immediate family gathering to celebrate Kiyo’s life. In lieu of flowers and Koden, the family requests that donations be made to an organization of your choice.
We would like to thank the staff at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital Unit 5A for all their support and health care during Kiyo’s stay.
The family would also like to thank Dr. J Kennedy, the staff at Marthas House, Home care workers and to Salmon and Sons Funeral Home Ltd for their support and service.

WRIGHT, James WRIGHT JAMES LLOYD WRIGHT, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Julie Wright, passed away at home on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 at the age of 92 years.

BAUMSTARK, Robert “Bob” ROBERT “BOB” BAUMSTARK 1946 – 2023 Mr. Robert “Bob” Anthony Baumstark of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Therese Baumstark, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness at his home, on February 15, 2023, at the age of 76 years.
Bob was born on March 6, 1946 to John and Lillian Baumstark. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Bob fell in love with carpentry at a young age. A love and passion that he became known for all his life. He was the owner and operator of Miami Construction LTD for over 45 years.
Bob met the love of his life Therese in Chicago, ILL. They were married on June 29, 1974 in Chicago. Bob and Therese moved to BC, Canada in the mid 70’s. their daughter Patricia was born in 1976. They made their home in Vauxhall, AB., in the early 80’s. Bob and Therese retired to Lethbridge in 2011.
Besides his loving wife Therese Baumstark, Robert is survived by his daughter Patricia (Leonard) Giofu; stepdaughter Diane (Les) Weiss; son Jim (Bridget) Baumstark; stepsons Robert (Caroline) Jakubowski, Michael (Angie) Jakubowski; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister Pat Szos of Chicago as well as numerous nieces, nephews and his many friends.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Lillian Baumstark; sister Charlotte Baumstark; brother John Jr. Baumstark and son in law Alan Giofu.
A Interment will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Mountain View Cemetery, 1210 Scenic Dr. South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor Dan Doerkson officiating.

IVEY, Gary GARY IVEY 1957 – 2023 Mr. Gary Albert Ivey of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Teresa Ann Ivey, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, February 20, 2023, at the age of 65 years.
Gary was born on December 26, 1957 in Brandford, ON, to Paul and Norma Ivey. He grew up in Brandford where he completed his grade 12. In 1980 he married Teresa, and they had three children, Kevin Albert Ivey (Ellen), Victoria, Paul, Miracle, and Michelle, Tyler William Ivey, Siren, Niya and Trey, Tanya Brett (Makowski) Josh, and Adria. In 1992 they moved to Alberta, Gary became an auto Mechanic Journeyman, he then became a Real Estate Agent in 1997, he was rookie of the year for 25 years. Gary enjoyed soccer, the outdoors and traveling.
Besides his loving wife Teresa, Gary is survived by daughter Tanya (Makowski) Josh; sons Kevin (Ellen), and Tyler; grandchildren, Siren, Niya, Trey, Victoria, Paul and Adria; sister Gale in Ontario, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
He is predeceased by his parents Paul and Norma Ivey and brother Wayne.

Besides his loving wife, Mel is survived by his loving daughter Jean (Glen) Mertz, his loving son Doug (Sherry) Irwin, his four loving grandchildren: Austin (Emily) Mertz, Mackenzie (Jesse Reams) Mertz, Jessie Irwin and Declan Irwin and three adoring great- grandchildren: Arlin Mertz, Miles Mertz and Matea Mertz.
