BIRD, Michelle BIRD Michelle Veniece Bird passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 52 years.
A Wake Service will be held at Sik-Ooh-Kotok Friendship Society, 1709 2nd Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB from 4:00 – 6:00 pm continuing at Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve from 7:00 – 11:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Blood Band Cemetery, Stand Off.

KOPERVAS, Johnny JOHNNY KOPERVAS 1938 – 2023 Johnny Kopervas of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Margaret Kopervas, passed away suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the age of 84 years.
Johnny was born and raised in Barnwell, Alberta. He moved to Lethbridge after meeting Margaret.
Johnny worked for the City of Lethbridge for 25 years. After his retirement, Johnny and Margaret had many adventures traveling in the motorhome. He was a fun-loving character that loved telling stories, dancing and playing crib.
He is survived by his children, Nicki (Jim) Alway of Kelowna, BC, Gerry (Janet) Davis of Oakville, Ontario; His brother George (Ev) Kopervas of Lethbridge. Johnny is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. You will be missed.
A private service will be held where he will be laid to rest with his wife Margaret and son Scott Davis.

PISKO, Stanley PISKO We wanted him to stay, but STANLEY ROY PISKO, the beloved husband of Joan Pisko, has celebrated his last days on this Earth. On Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the age of 87, Stan passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit.

The Traditional Funeral Service will be held at Mike Oka’s Residence on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, at 11:00 A.M.
Michael will be interred in the Mike Oka’s Family Cemetery.
