HAROLD KUEHN
1947 – 2023

Harold Delynn Kuehn, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Lorraine at his side on August 4, 2023 at the age of 76.
Harold was born on June 18,1947 to Wesley and Dorothy Kuehn in Lethbridge, Alberta. The second of four children, Harold spent his younger years in scouting, baseball, and curling.
Harold married the love of his life and best friend Lorraine in 1967. Harold and Lorraine were high school sweethearts who met at school in Wrentham at the age of 10. Lorraine often talks fondly of how Harold was always looking out for her through their dating years, whether that be warming her hands on the school bus, or making sure she wasn’t picked last in gym. If you knew Harold, you would know that he was a helper and fixer at heart. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for people. This passion for helping others can be seen in all areas of his life. As an active member of the Evangelical Free Church of Lethbridge, Harold served on the Missions Committee and volunteered in church activities alongside Lorraine for many years. As time went on, Harold and his wife Lorraine discovered their love for the mission field and served on many trips to Cuba and Bolivia.
Harold wore many hats throughout his life. He was an avid farmer, and businessman. He was a protector, a listening ear, a voice of reason, but first and foremost he was Husband, Dad, Brother and Grandpa. Harold loved well, worked hard, and played hard. He didn’t take life too seriously and spent his later years travelling around the world making memories with his beloved wife Lorraine. Their favourite place to travel to was Manzanillo, Mexico. Besides his loving wife Lorraine Lee Kuehn, Harold is survived by his daughters Paula (Stewart), Karie, Shonna (Mike) as well as Jesyka (Chris) and Brayden (Erikah); His grandchildren Brooklyn, Kasydi, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Taylee, Jaysa; and great grandchildren Mya, and Ellanore; His sister Pheona (Ed) and brother’s Randy (Karen) and Farley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 11th at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH of Lethbridge, 4717 24 AVENUE SOUTH. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the “Evangelical Free Church of Canada Missionaries and Projects” in Harold’s memory. (http://efcc.ca/servebeyond/missionaries-and-projects/)
