BENGRY, Laurence BENGRY LAURENCE WILLIAM BENGRY, of Magrath, AB, beloved husband of the late Louise Bengry, was born June 16, 1930 in Cardston, and passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritans Garden Vista in Magrath, on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the age of 93 years.
Laurence will be lovingly remembered and will forever be missed by his surviving children: Rick Bengry, Jack Bengry, and Lynda (Dan) Tuck; his grandchildren: Nadine, Kyle, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Samantha, Cassandra, Kiri and Braydon; and his many great- grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife Louise, he was predeceased by his children: Stacy Burnett and Darcy Bengry.
Laurence was a gentle, loving and humble man; he loved to tease and make people laugh. There was always a sparkle in his eye. He was generous with his love, and he was a true gentleman. We are so grateful that he was our Papa.

GREENE, Brenda BRENDA GREENE 1957 – 2023 Mrs. Brenda Greene of Lethbridge formerly of Carmangay, beloved wife of Mr. Dennis Greene, passed away in her home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the age of 65 years.

HARROWING, Ruth HARROWING RUTH MARY HARROWING (ne̩ HILL) 20 July 1934 Р19 October 2023 Ruth died peacefully in her 90th year following complications from a heart medication.
A Memorial Service will be held at the PARKBRIDGE ESTATES COMMUNITY HALL – 2920 29 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Erin Phillips officiating.

DUNSMORE, Debra DUNSMORE DEBRA DUNSMORE, mother of Jared Ian King, passed away quietly at Good Samaritans Garden Vista Cottage in Magrath, AB at the age of 71 years.
Debra was born in Cardston to Alan and Jean (nee Buer) Dunsmore, the youngest of five siblings. Her early years were spent in Vauxhall where she graduated from Vauxhall High School. She obtained her teaching degree at the University of Lethbridge. She taught at Lomond Elementary School, worked as records manager at the Alberta Transportation office in Lethbridge, and as an information and records manager for the Government of Alberta in Edmonton. Her favourite social breakfast spots were “On the Rocks” in Edmonton and “Pop’s Pub North” in Lethbridge. Debra retired in September 2014, after which she returned to Lethbridge.
Debra was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Don (Lois), Dale (Cathie), Robert (Diane) and her sister, Geraldine. She leaves behind her son, six nephews and nieces and good friends and caregivers, Claire and Terry Beaton.

JENSEN, Ellen Ellen Jensen
1927 – 2023
Ellen Isabel Jensen, beloved wife of the late Roy Jensen, passed away peacefully in Taber, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the age of 96 years.
The Funeral Service will be held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow at Taber Memorial Garden. Condolences may be forwarded by visiting our website at http://www.southlandfuneral.com.
Ellen is survived by her children, Barry (Debbie) Jensen of Taber, their children Candee (Kent) Carter, Jodi (Andy) Blacquier, Jason Jensen, their grandchildren Tyson, Taylor, Bailey, Jessie, Wyatt, Kody and their great granddaughter Rylee Faith Jensen; Kim (Linda) Jensen of Lethbridge, their children Justin (Kendra) Jensen, Travis (Shelly) Jensen and their grandchildren MacKenzie, Kandice, Aalyah and Jaxynne; Laurie (Rick) Chapman of Red Deer, their children Keri (James) Lee, Ken (Melanie) Chapman and their grandchildren Nathan, Tanner, Kallie, Jacob, Gabriel and Daxton. Ellen is also survived by her sisters-in-law Shirley Stoltz of Calgary and Darlene Layton of Taber; extended family Robert Murakami of Calgary and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy Jensen, parents Sam and Jean Rombough, her siblings and grandson Wayne Barry Jensen.
Ellen married Roy Jensen, her best friend and the love of her life on March 7, 1947. Ellen’s great love was for her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her newest great great granddaughter. She loved her farm at Fincastle, the purebred charolais cattle and her pet dog and cats. She also enjoyed many years of curling. Ellen will be dearly missed.
