BURR, Patricia PATRICIA MARYLIN BURR (Nee Riis) 1944 – 2023 Tricia passed away on December 12 after a long stay in hospital, finally her pain and suffering is over. She will join her Father, Mother and her son Richard. Leaving behind her husband Allan and his step children Cathy, Rich and the young man she took under her wing Kevin and her many friends. She touched the hearts of so many people with her singing, music and her smile. She sang at many events in southern Alberta. She enjoyed playing for retirement homes. She was able to sing the songs they knew. There was one time she was singing and people started laughing. Tricia thought they were laughing at her until they told her there was a fish tank behind her and when she sang the fish would line up in a row till she stopped. Then they would swim away until she sand again and they would line up again.
Tricia will be soulfully missed by her many friends especially those who got the chance to know her. Tricia was a very special lady.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
