BARRUS DEE WORLEY BARRUS, beloved husband of Lorna Lavon (Card) Barrus, passed away in Cardston, Alberta on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the age of 89 years.
Friends may meet the family at the Legacy Funeral Home on Friday, March 29th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. or at the church on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
The Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel (355 3 St W, Cardston) on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Cardston Cemetery.

BIRD JASMINE CHERISH WADE BIRD, passed away on March 17, 2024 in Moses Lake, Blood Reserve at the age of 26 years. A Wake Service will be held at the Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve, on Monday, April 1 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Moses Lake Community Hall on Tuesday, April 2 at 12:00 pm. The Interment will follow in Blood Band Cemetery.

JENSEN, Barry

JENSEN It is with much sadness that the family of Barry Dale Jensen announce his unexpected death. Barry passed away peacefully with his eternal companion Kristine by his side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the age of 75 years, due to complications from a fall on February 5.
The service for Barry is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 12:00 pm, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 175 Rocky Mountain Blvd West, Lethbridge, AB. Friends may meet with the family prior to the funeral service from 11:00 – 11:45 am. A private interment will follow at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined due to allergies.

HUNG DU 1930 – 2024 Mr. Hung Du passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday March 17, 2024, at the age of 94 years. Hung was predeceased by his loving wife Tai Che on February 16, 2003.

RED CROW KEITH RED CROW, of the Blood Reserve, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre, on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the age of 82 years.
A Wake will be held at OLD AGENCY HALL, Blood Reserve, AB, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
In Keith’s honour, a Going Home Service will be held at OLD AGENCY HALL on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 12:00 Noon.
Following the Funeral Service, Keith will be laid to rest in One Spot Cemetery.

WIGAND, Reinhild “Rae”

REINHILD “RAE” WIGAND (née Mariak), of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Peter Wigand, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the age of 79 years.

Besides her loving husband of 53 years, Peter, Rae is survived by her daughter Christina Wigand (Wally); sons Peter (Coral) Wigand, Robert (Angela) Wigand; six grandchildren; and sister Erna Seidel.

Rae was born in Germany on March 4, 1945, and immigrated to Canada with her parents and siblings in 1952.

The family would like to thank the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care team very much for their loving care.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.

Following the Funeral Service, Rae will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rae’s memory to St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, 1400 – 9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4V5.
