LOOK, Jack
LOOK JACK MORRISON LOOK, of Coalhurst, beloved husband of Margaret Look, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 94.
Jack is survived by his Wife Margaret of 72 years, children, Bonnie (Dan), Bruce (Florence); 3 Grandchildren; Dereik (Marianne) Pearson, Tina Pearson and Ross (Kaleena) Paulovich; 7 Great Grandchildren; Kamryn, Ashlee, Jackson, Gracelynn, Oliver, Ella and Kai; Brother Jerry (Sandy) Look of Longview Washington, and his children; Jeff (Danette), and David (Ruth). In-laws Louis Kopp, Ernest (Lucille) Pahl, Reinholt (Linda) Pahl, Roselyn Pahl, Walter Pahl, Barbara Pahl, Paul (Antiena) Peterson, Dorothy Powell, Sharon Pahl and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his Parents Morrison and Maurine, daughter Marie and In-laws Ethel and Bill Singer, Mary Kopp, Jim Powell, Arthur Pahl, Wilfred Pahl, Luke Pahl, Pauline Peterson, and Marilyn Pahl.
Jack was born May 2, 1930, in Webster, South Dakota, USA to Morrison Look and Maurine (Marshall) Look. They emigrated in 1933 to Lucky Strike, Alberta where his grandfather George Look Homesteaded.
Jack married Margaret Pahl in Medicine Hat on November 22, 1951, and they ranched and farmed in Lucky Strike area.
The family moved to Lethbridge in 1966. Jack became involved in the Real Estate business, Construction, land Development and appraisals. He did Real Estate Developments in Mexico, United States, and the Bahamas. In 1970 developed the Coalhurst Mobile Home Park.
Jack was Past Master of North Star Masonic Lodge #4 and a Past Patron of Laurel Chapter #43 Order of the Eastern Star.
A Memorial will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the COALHURST COMMUNITY HALL – 527 50 Avenue, Coalhurst, Alberta from 2:00-5:00 P.M. All family and friends are welcome. (Lunch will be served.)

BLAKE, Harrison BLAKE HARRISON ROGER BLAKE, beloved son of Ken and Brittany Blake, and brother to Greyson Blake, passed away peacefully at Rotary Flames House in Calgary, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the age of 4 years.
Besides his loving parents Ken and Brittany, and little brother Greyson, Harrison is survived by his grammy Penny, his grandpa and grandma Norm and Nicole, his auntie Laura (Dave) Maysa, Dakota and Dyson, auntie Natalie, London, Breaker and Royal, auntie Courtney (Chris) Jet, Kyah, Kashtyn and Kade, uncle Brayden (Karen) Valentina and Victoria, great-granny Maryann, and many loving great-aunties, great-uncles, great-cousins and friends.
Harrison is predeceased by his great-grandparents Ross and Stella-Irene “Skip”, Dean and Mary “Elva”, Oma and Opa Winnie and Vern, papa Roger, pa Bruce, great uncle Dan and cousin Brandon.
Harrison was born on May 19th, 2020 to first time parents Ken and Brittany at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic. He was a bright light to everyone that loved him in a very uncertain time. He will be forever loved and missed by all who’s lives he touched.
A very special thank you to all of our medical teams at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Alberta Children’s Hospital, as well as the PICU team and to the Rotary Flames House staff and volunteers; to our Support Staff at Children’s Allied Health and Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD), and to all of Harrison’s Heroes that have loved and supported us.

PERRIN, Stanley
STANLEY WILLIAM ARTHUR PERRIN May 13, 1941 – September 19, 2024 Mr. Stanley Perrin of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Dianne Perrin (nee Cameron), passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the age of 83 years.
Stanley grew up on the family farm south of Fort Macleod and remained a farmer in heart. He attended school at Ardenville and then in the town of Fort Macleod, as an adult, he attended the Community College in Lethbridge and SAIT in Calgary. He became a Journeyman Electrician and in 1979 obtained his Masters in Electricity. He was an industrial electrician at Shell Canada in Pincher Creek and formed his own company – Perrin Electric Limited, contacting to Gulf Canada and later worked as a job inspector at several places in Alberta.
He married July 20, 1963 at Granum, Alberta, to his best friend and wife of 61 years, Dianne. They were blessed with two sons Gordon (deceased) and Lyle. He was a proud father and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his family.
Stanley was pre-deceased by his son Gordon (2018); parents Oron (1979) and Edna (1979); five siblings Donald (1930), Harvey (2004), Howard (1939), twins Lorraine and Leta (1938); and his parents in law Betty (2022) and Bill Cameron (2011).
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Dianne; son Lyle Perrin; seven grandchildren Sam (Jamie) Perrin of Spokane, Washington; Sydney (Brennan) Graham of Williston, North Dakota; Shelby (Jesse) Hernandez of Anderson, Texas; Holly (Bryce) Shreffler of Rathdrum, Idaho; Jessie Perrin of Edmonton, Alberta; Haley Perrin of Calgary, Alberta; Jennifer Perrin of Edmonton, Alberta; seven great-grandchildren Sampson Perrin, Braylee and Avery Graham, Ava, Amelia and Annie Elizabeth Hernandez and Presley Shreffler; sister-in-law Donna Hunter (Keith dec) and her family as well as many life-long friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Coma and the Fairmont Extendicare staff for their excellent care given.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 30, 2024 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street, South, Lethbridge, Alberta. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024 at FORT MACLEOD UNION CEMETERY, Fort Macleod, Alberta.

AYOTTE, Kristina “Tina” AYOTTE KRISTINA “TINA” AYOTTE, born May 24, 1979 in Burnaby, B.C. Tina passed away surrounded by her family and friends, on Monday, September 9, 2024 at the age of 45, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kennady and Alyssa; son, Jesse; her loving and caring companion Marcus Falk; parents, William and Phyllis Ayotte; and her brother Michael; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tina was raised in British Columbia until the age of nine and spent the rest of her life living in southern Alberta.
She was a very outgoing and loving person, with a large circle of loving and caring friends.
She loved her cats and dogs alike and enjoyed camping with the family and friends.
She loved to travel and to see the world, with several trips to British Columbia to visit family, as well as to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. One of her biggest dreams was to travel to New York City, to experience all the bright lights and its hustle-and-bustle.
But above all, Tina loved her children. She was fiercely devoted to them, worked extremely hard to provide for, encourage, and nurture them, and poured the best parts of herself into each one of them.
Tina, we will all miss your beautiful smile, your outgoing and engaging personality, your laughter, and your passion to live life your way.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

VANDERBEEK, Frances VANDERBEEK FRANCES GAIL VANDERBEEK, passed away peacefully at the Park Meadows Good Samaritans, with her children at her side, on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the age of 86 years.
Frances is survived by her son, Tim VanderBeek, and daughter, Gail (Rod) Schultz; granddaughters, Sarah Schultz (Nathan Kostiuk) and Alyssa Schultz (George Banks); and great-grandchildren, Willow and Landon Banks.
She was predeceased by her husband Johannes “Joe” VanderBeek, her parents, John and Erma Graham, her brother James Graham and sister Patricia Maryancik.
Frances was born in Calgary, Alberta on September 27, 1937, but as a railway child, was not destined to live there for long, moving between Calgary, Lethbridge and Montreal. When she moved back to Lethbridge, she met her husband Joe and had two children. She obtained her Education degree and taught Grade three for most of her career but finally ‘passed’ and finished her career teaching Grade four.
In retirement, she divided her time between her granddaughters, golf and volunteering with animal rescue.
As per Frances’ wishes, there will be no ceremony.

CROSTHWAITE, Bill Bill Crosthwaite 1932 – 2024 Joseph Charles Crosthwaite of Bow Island, beloved husband of the late Shirley Crosthwaite, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones Saturday, September 21, 2024 a few weeks short of his 92nd birthday.

Bill is survived by daughter Debbie (Bert) Michaelis of Lethbridge and their children Curtis (Jennifer) Michaelis (Zachary and Taylor), Cody (Amanda) Michaelis (Dawson and Brady); daughter Marilyn (Dave) Van Gaalen of Lethbridge and their children Angela (Greg) Leighton (Liam, Olivia and Abigail), Christopher Van Gaalen (Krystal Peters), Ryan (Courtney Pommen) Van Gaalen (Reed and Lainey). He is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce (Bernie) Hanson; brother-in-law Jack Peard and their families, and by his dear friend and companion June Knouse and her family.
He was predeceased by his wife of fifty six years, Shirley (née Larsen); parents Joseph and Ann and sister Thurza Peard.
Bill played a large role in southern Alberta agriculture. Starting as a ditch rider for St. Mary River Irrigation District, he was then promoted to superintendent for the Eastern District of SMRID. Many farmers will remember his blue company car driving the ditch banks and gravel roads. When he visited the coffee shop at 8AM, he had already checked the gates and reservoirs and water flows of the district. After his retirement from the SMRID, Bill worked for Burbridge Farm for fifteen years. For many years he volunteered with the Bow Island Fire Department and Ambulance Service. Bill loved to travel with family and friends, Vegas was his favourite. Everyone who knew Bill will miss his quick wit, endless one liners and gentle ribbing.

CHRISTENSEN, Joy CHRISTENSEN JOY CHRISTENSEN, beloved wife of Kim Christensen, passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary,
Alberta on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the age of 65. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Kim, son Casey (Jessica) Christensen and their children Clay, Daisy, Ruby, Elsie, and Charlie. Joy defied odds her whole life.
She loved her family and loved spending time with them. She always pushed them to be the best they could be. Joy loved fast cars, sports, fishing and raising grandchildren.
She was blessed with an understanding of life and was a perfect example of what it takes to be an amazing wife, mother
and grandmother. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite saying was, ‘Come what may and love it!’
One request she would have at this time is for her friends and family to be happy and hug your kids always.
