Pronghorns to play for Canada West bronze

The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns women’s basketball team will play for a bronze medal tonight as they fell to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies 62-51 in the semifinals last night at the Canada West Final Four Championship in Saskatoon.

The Horns Jessica Haenni led the way on the court with 38 minutes on the court, as well as putting up 18 points, going  3-for-8 on three-point attempts, one-for-one at the free-throw line

and went 7-for 19 from the field.

Jessica Zarowy was second in points during the game with eight and she went 3-for-6 from the  fiel and 2-for-2 at the free-throw line.

The Canada West Final Four bronze medal game will be played at 5 p.m.

The other  semi-final was between the University of Regina and University of Winnipeg.

The score was unavailable at press time.

The Huskies will play the winner of that semi-final at 7 p.m
