After being shut out by the Edmonton Oil Kings on Thursday night at the Enmax Centre, the Lethbridge Hurricanes look to get back on the scoresheet and the win column tonight.

After a 4-0 loss to the Oil Kings that snapped a Hurricanes three-game win streak and dropped them to 6-7-2-0, Lethbridge heads to Edmonton for the rematch against the Oil Kings in Western Hockey League play at 7 p.m.

The Oil Kings 13-1-0-0 start to the shortened 24-game season has vaulted them to the top of the WHL.

On Thursday, the Hurricanes held the Oil Kings to a 1-0 lead heading into the third period before Edmonton struck three times in the third period to post the road win.

The Oil Kings were without leading scorer Dylan Guenther, who has 12 goals and 24 points in 12 games this season, but have ample help behind him with Jake Neighbours (23 points) and Jaylen Luypen (19).

The Hurricanes are led by Justin Hall’s 11 goals and 21 points in 15 games.

After tonight’s game, the teams complete the three-game weekend back in Lethbridge on Sunday at 7 p.m.
