Ng, Van Nistelrooy capture Alberta Cup

Val Matteotti Golden Hawks U15 AAA teammates Rylan Ng and Barrett Van Nistelrooy were a part of the Alberta Cup-winning Alberta Green over the weekend in Red Deer.
Alberta Green eked out a 1-0 win over Alberta Red in Sunday’s final.
Ng had a goal and an assist in five games and Van Nistelrooy had two goal and two assists in five games.
The win capped off a perfect 5-0 record for Alberta Green in the tournament.
The Alberta Cup assists in the identification and the selection of players who could be a part of Hockey Alberta’s Team Alberta program.
There are 120 players who try out annually and 20 players are put on six regional teams.
