Hurricanes celebrate Thanksgiving with win over Oil Kings

After posting a shutout Friday night against Moose Jaw, goaltender Harrison Meneghin again helped the Lethbridge Hurricanes to victory by stopping 38 of 40 shots in the Canes 5-2 win over the Oil Kings Monday afternoon in Edmonton.
Carter Dereniwsky scored two goals, along with a single each from Kooper Gizowski and Miguel Marques and an empty net goal from Joe Arntsen.
RED DEER (CP) — On Saturday Rebels Ollie Josephson scored a goal and added an assist as Red Deer edged the Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-1.
Talon Brigley and Frantisek Formanek also scored for the Rebels.
Brayden Edwards scored for the Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes are back in action at home as they host the Brandon Wheat Kings Wednesday evening at the Enmax Centre.
