Marques return still a question mark

Lethbridge Hurricanes GM, Peter Anholt, gave an update earlier this week on forward Miguel Marques who has been out with an upper body injury since mid-December.

“We’ll watch and see how Miggy heals and what his timeline is going to be,” said Anholt.

“It’s a bit of a question mark right now. Miggy just needs to be positive and keep a positive attitude and hopefully we can get him healthy and get him back.”

The WHL website lists Marques as week to week.

Marques had 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists) before sustaining the injury in the Canes Dec. 11 game against Saskatoon.

Forward Jordan Gustafson, who was acquired in a recent trade from Seattle Thunderbirds, is listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury and has yet to play a game this season.
