There’s not much you can do about change

I drove by Henderson Lake Park this afternoon and there they were; the faithful few, sitting, shivering, behind their little sign slagging Justin Trudeau. Well, to each his own I say. Everybody needs a hobby, but I couldn’t help but think that these people are going to have a gaping hole in their weekends come Spring.
And spare a thought for all those good old boys with their big old trucks. How are they going to find it in the parking lot without all those decals and bumper stickers and upside down Canadian flags?
I realize conservatives dislike change but there’s not much you can do about it and I flat out guarantee that by Summer they’ll have found something else to get their knickers in a knot. Some things just never change.

they will likely move on…that is to say, go back…to telling women that carrying a fetus to term is the penalty for having had sex for any other reason than to create a fetus.
They make me sick using the Canadian flag and the word “freedom” as their protest slogans. I would love to show a Canadian flag on my vehicle or home but the thought I would be assumed to be supporting them makes it more of an embarassent than an honour and pride for my counry that I served under.
