Dear Editor,
Those who think there is not just as much, or more, fentanyl being produced in labs throughout America, for Americans, as there is coming in from elsewhere are deluding themselves. Nowhere is the demand higher and nowhere are there more opportunistic, unscrupulous entrepreneurs ready and willing to accommodate it and fully exploit the weakness of their fellow citizens than in the former U.S.A. Need folks be reminded that the Sackler family isn’t Mexican, Chinese or Canadian? Neither is Martin Shkreli. They are only two high-profile examples of the ubiquitous exploitive sociopathic criminality that has now taken firm hold of the levers of legislative, executive, judicial and administrative power. All the blame-gaming & brouhaha about fentanyl pouring into their country from elsewhere is hogwash.

This fentanyl ruse is typical of the MAGA type: play the victim while running roughshod over everyone around you.
It isn’t just Fentanyl, Meth is being shipped from Canada as well. Some articles to shine some light, including two major drug labs busted last fall in BC, with more not mentioned.
We do have serious issues in Canada, but there is far more drugs coming into Canada from the US and most of the guns used in crimes come from the US.

Those aren’t the only means of concealing drugs. Over the last year, record shipments of methamphetamine — more than six tonnes sent through the Port of Vancouver — have been intercepted in shipping containers arriving in Australia and before departure in Canada disguised as canola oil and maple syrup.
Sources said that the recent massive meth loads were likely cartel-produced in Mexico and transshipped through the Port of Vancouver with the assistance of the Canadian Hells Angels and the Australian Comanchero biker gangs.
