COVID shot plan is typical UCP policy

Last time we had a major COVID vaccine campaign, the vaccinations were free. Now, each shot costs $100. Even health care workers – nurses, doctors, hospital staff – must pay for their own shots. Last time, vaccines were provided in pharmacies and Lethbridge has about 30 pharmacies across the city – so easy access. Now (apparently) shots will be provided only by Alberta Health Services. And we will have to register in advance through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System. Seems that the UCP is sacrificing public health for all Albertans in order to pander to their right-wing, anti-vax base. Fits right in with the UCP decision to ok private, for-profit facilities – both clinics and hospitals – which receive public funding.

Leslie This just another step in forcing an American Style Health Care privatized system onto the backs of Albertans and you can bet our Education system will be next, while they continue to help the rich steal our oil and corporate tax wealth. Treating Albertans like morons is their mandate.
Electing another Reformer in Pierre Poilievre proves how stupid Albertans are doesn’t it?
This is the guy who tried to help Stephen Harper destroy our Public Health Care System by taking $36 billion off the transfer payments to the provinces and it got them kicked out and Trudeau elected didn’t it?
Showing his own constituents no respect by praising these Criminals Convoy Truckers and ignoring the fact that they cost Canadians $6 billion doesn’t make them look very smart, does it?
I’m curious which company is supplying these COVID shots?
Good question, we would all like to know.
We must get off our butts and start protesting by joining a pro-Canada movement. It’s that or more years of gloom and doom.
