LTC ‘pot shots’ were unfair

As an incumbent member of Lethbridge city council, we are always held accountable.
That’s an important part of democracy and key to our job. I take offence when a special interest group takes pot shots through the local media.
Not once did the Lethbridge Transparency Council (LTC) reach out to me on an issue of concern.
Over the years the citizens of Lethbridge have always known that I’m there to take that call.

Anyone who pays attention knows they are a special interest group using disinformation to further their agenda, which doesn’t seem to be much beyond causing problems. It’s a shame really because a legit citizen oversight group would be very useful…
