MLA engaging in fear-mongering?

MLA Shannon Phillips’ comments in the Lethbridge Herald (Oct. 17, “UCP cuts dire for teachers, says Phillips”) amount to nothing more than fear-mongering. She has no firm information to back this up! She claims that 151 teaching positions can be lost over the next four years. It is a well-known practice of political parties who feel the heat of an upcoming election. Which, as far as I am concerned, can’t come soon enough.
