Thanks to those working in essential services

By Letter to the Editor on June 17, 2020.

In honour of National Public Service Week June 14-20, this message is to all our essential-service workers, front-line responders, health-care workers in hospitals, clinics and long-term care homes, public service workers, clerks in grocery stores, drug stores, maintenance workers, farmers, ranchers, the transport industry, meat packing plants, food processing plants, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP and local police services – thank you for being there for us and for all Canadians during the coronavirus pandemic. From one generation to another.

To everyone, please continue to do your part in protecting us all by maintaining physical distancing, washing your hands frequently, not touching your face, staying home as much as you can and contacting 811 if you have any symptoms as testing is available to all Albertans.

Thankyou for that Richard! It is nice for us “Front-line Workers” to be acknowledged from time to time. We battle on!
