As the world turns, sometimes a new challenge comes along to give us all a fleeting vision into the state of humankind. The Covid-19 pandemic has offered us that opportunity. I have witnessed the best and the worst of human nature. More on that at a later time.
I want to state where I sit on my travels on this wonderful and sometimes frightening journey called life. Will some of you open your eyes? I don’t know but I’d like to try.
Here is how I view humans: Every single human on this planet is my equal.
None are better than me and none are less than me. The Queen of England is neither my superior nor my inferior. The homeless man or woman is neither less than or better than myself. I do not look up or down on another human regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, political beliefs or religious beliefs. I only judge people by their actions. If you are a thief, a liar or you treat others with disdain, may I ask you to try and change your ways? If your heart is filled with hate and you feel you are better than others or you feel you are inferior to some one else, rest assured you are not. Be the best you that you can be.
Do not worry what others think about you.
Stand tall and treat others with respect and as your equal. Love everyone and always give a hand up to others, not just a hand out and we will all make this world a better place. We must take care of each other and take care of this planet we call home. Peace out.

a beautiful piece. it echoes the loving approach offered by one called jesus. imagine the better world, if only the multitudes that profess to be his followers could truly bring themselves to embrace his message of unconditional love, rather than perpetuate the essence of ugliness he dedicated his life to enlighten.
