This is an open letter to all of the owners, managers, and supervisors, of 99 per cent of the businesses in this city.
Why is it, that when I come into your business, and spend my hard-earned money, that I don’t get a thank you from, you, the owner, or your employee??
Instead, I get a ” have a good one” or “have a nice day.”
When a customer comes into my business, they get a please, and a thank you for their business….every time.
I, as well as all of your other customers, are the reasons that your business, and the employing of your workforce is still keeping your doors open.
I shop local as much as I can, but, an anonymous purchase online, is MUCH more pleasing to my ears, than having to hear “have a good one.”
Time to get back to common courtesy, managers and owners!

Still far better to get a “have a good one”, then having to pray for a Canadian Tire Employee to show up, then pray he/she has a clue, only to be treated like you are inconveniencing there day by asking a question.
I hear you Dennis. I went through that exact same thing 3 times in the last week at Canadian Tire.
