My wife and I have been in Lethbridge for five days on a house hunting trip as we are moving to Lethbridge from Southern Ontario.
We have been very impressed with the city – it’s clean, well-kept, wide roads in good condition, nice parks, and more – and it’s close to interesting sights. But what has really impressed us is the people. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We have had lunches and dinners at Sisters, the Italian Table, Rivaaz, Firestone, and other restaurants. The servers in all of them have been very professional yet ready to chat and tell us about their city. I wanted a copy of The Herald and couldn’t spot it at London Drugs.
The cashier got up and fetched one for me.
At Shoppers, I couldn’t find something and one of the staff took me to the right location.
At our hotel, the Wingate, the situation is the same – great people – and “the best pup in the hotel business, Winston”. If you have pets, stay at the Wingate. Lethbridge has a lot to be proud of.
We have found the house we would like to have and will present an offer shortly. We look forward to living in your (soon to be our) great city.

Given the universal welcoming response in Lethbridge I am guessing Marcis is not indigenous.
Would a non-racist comment been a better way to start this thread? UNBELIEVABLE!
Welcome to our little city Marcis! Yes we welcome hard-working law-abiding people here. But if you have another agenda (which I am sure you don’t) then my best advice to you is keep moving West.
