Nobody being held accountable for CPP report’s mythical numbers

By Lethbridge Herald on November 3, 2023.

The ‘Albrexit’ CPP report with the mythical numbers is by LifeWorks, a company that doesn’t exist.

So there’s nobody to hold accountable for the witchcraft that produced the fairy-tale financial figures use in this taxpayer-funded ad campaign.

Internet research on ‘LifeWorks’ shows it’s now Telus Health, a private health care corporation.

Say what?

The Alberta government is taking financial and investment advice from a private health provider?

My bafflement from this fact, and from the bizarre recommendation to remove Albertans from the best pension plan in the world, is leaving me with a sense of discombobulation.

The only reason I can fathom for furthering such a fatalistic financial fumble is conspiracism.

But with who? Let’s ask the authors of the LifeWorks report. But oh yeah, I almost forgot! There’s no such thing as LifeWorks.

The federal government has agreed to provide numbers from their end. We wait.
