Kamala Harris a worthy and serious presidential candidate

Re: “Harris won’t have the support of Democrats in the election”:
In a recent Letter to the Editor, the writer states “Biden was dumped….Harris was selected by party insiders to replace him…” and concludes that Democrats will not support her.
Today, Biden is still the American president. He chose Kamala Harris as his VP because he knew she could “step up” if required to do so. Recently, he voluntarily decided not to run in the next presidential election. As of today, Harris is still the American Vice President. She is running to be the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party. She has been “enthusiastically endorsed” by President Biden. During Biden’s long career, he has acted and is still acting with honesty and integrity. His endorsement is of great value.
These events and this process have been painful and difficult. Biden and Harris are doing what they both agree is best for their country. Good luck to them. Biden is not a patsy and Harris is a serious and worthy candidate. That’s the reason Biden chose her! Why wouldn’t Democrats support her? And by the way, currently Trump is, in fact, a convicted felon.
