Trip to B.C. for COVID shot cheaper than paying in Alberta

Here we go again, the premier, anti vaxxer in Chief of the 51st State of North Montana – oops, sorry I meant the Province of Alberta, the land of the fee and the brave – has decided that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Alberta that they should pay $100 ,for the COVID vaccine, time and place still to be determined, and there is no guarantee that they might actually get one.
Here is a solution, although it requires a bit of time. Drive to Sparwood, B.C.,to get a free vaccine. Total distance from Lethbridge to Sparwood and back is approx. 356 km. assuming your vehicle consumes 10 liters/100 km that would work out to approx. 35 liters times $1.30 per liter equals $45.50 for a round trip or $22.75 for two, take along your neighbours and it would cost $11.37 per person, a lot better than $ 100 each.
